  • Hi all I have not been on the wagon for quite a few weeks as you may be able to tell.

I'm very aware I wil have put on at least 10lb (I weighed on friends scales on Saturday and it was 7lb!) but I know getting back on sw on Sunday (when we are back from in-laws) will see a big drop!

Mildredd I started a 20 and it was tight. Now im a 14 mostly. If its in primark though I am a 16 if its fitted. I want to be a size 10 by june.

Don't go by primark sizes... They are all so random! I bought a new look shirt in a 12, tend to be a 14, yet primark can be anything from 14-18!

Lost 3 and a half stone about 10 years ago but it's all back and then some. Needing a kick up the backside so new year New start. Sounds a great thread, hope you don't mind me lurking.

For me it's feeling tired, really unhappy with my body image and can't wear any rings bar my wedding ring which is stuck on.

Im 40 and I need to feel good about myself again, so here goes. Weight today was bad and my first size and only size 20 jeans need to go.

Right guys - I am starting again next Monday!

Stats - I'm 27, 5'3", started at 19st4lbs in Oct 2009 - lost 4st for wedding in August 2010, slowly put on 2st until Jan 2013 when fell pregnant with Rebecca - put on 2st whilst pregnant but lost again within 4 weeks of birth - unfortunately due to sitting around & eating carp for last couple months I reckon I am nearly back to starting weight!

Will give official weigh in on Monday! But I reckon I will be wanting to loose about 7st in total!

New consultant now though - old one had her last week this week - but she will still be coming to group!

Getting organised until big shop on Tuesday - lots of planning of meals that we can all enjoy! I'm glad I get extra healthy extras for breast feeding though! I can't get enough of milk & cheese! Lol

Be good to get back to eating proper foods! Anyone got any suggestions on snacks that are really low in syns or free that doesn't contain fruit & that is fairly cheap?

Me too but i think I'd have to lose ridiculous amounts for that to happen!

I would like to be an all over comfortable 14. :)

I knew I should have bought you that size 14 ball dress when I saw it!;):rotfl:

Brunch: sgetti hoops, poached egg, lean ham on 2 slices whole meal (HEXB)

Snack: 30 jelly belly jelly beans (6 syns I believe)

Dinner: beef casserole and boiled potatoes with carrots and broccoli

I've only really done EE regularly and based on that you've not really had enough superfrees today. You've had 2 HEBs (or 1 and 1 synned slice of bread) but no HEAs unless you've had milk in drinks. So I'd guess you're within syns for the day but need to up your superfrees.

Btw is it possible to combine SW with SF shakes? As in would one a day help or hinder?

I know someone who kick started her weightloss with SF shakes then switched to SW as she was feeling decidedly shaky (excuse pun;)) without proper food. Not sure if it would work doing both together. Suck it and see??

I started SW as I was feeling decidedly uncomfortable in size 16 and really couldn't bring myself to settle for being an 18. Although I plucked a target weight from the air (hope you all know that setting a target isn't essential BTW) what I really wanted and agreed with friends was to be a size 12 in 'good' clothes although I knew this might mean a 14 in Primani or Matalan. I'm sitting her now in a size 12 top and jeans by Sainsbury's Tu so hardly designer! I think I've cracked it!:D
