Hi, I can I join in please? I have been here before a few years a go. I lost 3 stone with SW, but after having another baby, I put it all on. She is now 2 and a half so I can't use that excuse anymore lol.
I am really fed up with the way I look and feel. I have let myself go and lost all joy in clothes and going out.
I've decided 2014 is for me. I need to start paying more attention to me and making sure I'm happy. After losing my Mum last year to breast cancer, I know I need to look after myself so I'm here for my kids. So I plan to start go to a class this week.
I'm 5ft 3 and weigh 14 st :-( wear a size 16-18 with the odd 20. I feel run down and unhealthy.
We are looking to go to Spain in July. My Inlaws will be there too as they are celebrating their 40th anniversary. I don't want to be embarrassed in a swimming costume. So my target is 3 stone off by June. I'd like more, but I don't want to put myself off before I Start.

I can now wear boots AND do up the zip, not hide them half undone under my jeans
This is one of my goals.. i'd love to be able to wear a nice pair of jeans and boots, I think it's such a nice look.
Well done Mich for getting there!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
I'm 5'3", 14 stone at my heaviest (just over a week ago), and have lost half a stone since then (sneaky midweek peek, sssh!)
My 18s were getting a bit snug, now they are fitting nicely. I am hoping to get to a size 12.
Due to work, I ate very little yesterday, so I am relaxing a bit today. But only a bit! Yesterday I had one banana, one orange, 2 alpen bars and a small slice of hm lasagne.
Today I have been on plan, but we are about to have a big dinner with pudding that is 16 syns by itself. But I'm cooking with little oil, lots of veg etc, so I'm kinda looking at it like the two days balance out - alternate day diet/5:2 diet style.
That's why I weighed myself midweek, to see how it works, if it helps then I might combine sw with 5:2, as my job would make that really easy. Has anyone else tried that?0 -
Btw is it possible to combine SW with SF shakes? As in would one a day help or hinder?0

Nic, we have a lot in common! Scottish, same height, starting weight and June is my big goal month too. Ideally I'd like another 3.5 stone off by then (lost a half stone so far).0

Well for tea it was dry roasted spuds, carrots, green beans and sweet corn with a chicken breast in breadcrumbs- done in oven. Not very SW friendly but it was in freezer and I need to empty it.
Thinking about making some soup, do you think if I boiled a bag of mixed frozen veg in stock and blended it up it would be/taste ok? I can't peel and chop loads of veg due to co ordination problems.
Going to have some frozen berries- defrosting, merginue nest and fat free yog later as my treat. Don't fancy chocolate and used my syns anyway on the chicken!
Going to Aldi tomo so will stock up on SW food0 -
I'm now a size 14/16 top and a 14 going on a 16 bottom, no good when your only just over 5ft tall, I'm nearly as wide as I'm tall!
At target I was a size 8-10 bottom and a 12 top, I've got a big bust which does not shrink with weight loss. I was a 30-32 FF now a 36FF.0
