It will be hard to think about eating plans if you are in a lot of pain, don't be hard on yourself, do the best you can and have a dodgy hug :grouphug:

    Good evening everyone :hello:

Congratulations on all the losses folks and more hugs for those struggling at the moment.

Well I WON'T be weighing in tomorrow as planned as I put the new batteries in the scales and they are ka-put -so I will get some ASAP.... on the up side not weighing in would normally give my head the green light to EAT EAT EAT *well I would have extra days to pull it back* BUT not this time Im just still going on as I should :A:rotfl:

The debate about oat-so simple -Im still using them as a hexB(plus 2 syns as I have flavoured ones) and I have no plan to stop as I lost plenty of weight before when they were a hexB -so I will carry on (Im naughty)-once I get closer to target then I will reassess these things..... I also don't syn tomato puree, nor cooked fruit and Im sure there are other rebellious things I do :rotfl:

I haven't eaten much today -gawd knows why but I am getting all organised ...right now I have :-

[*]1kg minced steak turning into bolognaise in the slow cooker

[*]1600g of pork marinading ready for the slow cooker in the morning (goan pork)

[*]800g pork marinading for slow cooker chinese pork (to go in another slow cooker tomorrow)

then in the morning 1kg of minced steak will get turned into chilli
and if that isn't enough to give me some time to breathe then I give up ;)

Of all that stuff what Im really looking forward to is having a bowl of "leon slaw" I used to make it before to go with burgers etc and its scrummy -it has raw beetroot, celeriac, etc in and its nommy -I will post my recipes once I do them....
right enough yapping again -I will get off and get something done... have a lovely night everyone...

MrsM - tom puree is Free now so no need to syn anyway! With regard to cooked fruit I don't syn it either, not that I have it very often anyway, but as long as I'm not having more than I would eat raw I still can't see the reason for synning it; same as mashing bananas to make a sarnie - I still only have one banana!

  • YIPEE -2LB this week..... Phew. Now to keep it up and get into my target zone next week, one more lb and I'm back there. No more walk of shame for me I hope!! Deffo back to fruit for breakfast, muller light and grapes for t break, soup for lunch and maybe scan bran and laughing cow , dinners grilled fish cous cous and veg, or SW friendly bolognaise, or chicken and SW chips with 1/3 super free.... Have been 80% on plan this week and lost 2, so will aim for the same again next week. Chuffed!

Be kind to yourself Beanie, and I reckon just looking after yourself to make yourself most comfortable is priority. Pain is a horrid thing, so hope you're feeling better very soon. Have a gentle dodgy one of these :grouphug:
WI today and a STS . I am beyond dissapointed.
I have not cheated or had extra all week apart from maybe a coffee or two a day so extra milk?
I have averaged 10 syns a day and written everything down.
However, I am a bit bloaty in a bunged up sort of way IYSWIM so I will up the veggies (am having a lot of salad so lots of water there and not much bulk.)n If anything I have eaten less this week than last although when comparing the two week I have had quite a carb heavy week where as the first week was more protein but as I am on EE I thought that was ok?

I have been the same this week, well worse, because I gained 1/2lb despite being totally on plan. Absolutely gutted I was. Just stick with it, and hope you see the results of being on plan come through for you next week. I've tried to up my fluid intake, and reduce the amount of fruit I've been eating. Here's hoping it works for us both!

Well I've had a busy old day sorting through loads of clutter, finding stuff to send to charity, or to ebay to try to make some extra pennies.

I had a nice meal out with the girls last night, and I ended up having the lasagne, which was another of the low cal options on the Ask menu. I did cave in and have a dessert though, so had a small piece of baked cheesecake with a scoop of sorbet. I didn't have any alcohol, so for a once in a blue moon treat, I'm not going to be bothered. I think it worked out that I had about 25 syns in total yesterday, and that includes 4.5 for my porridge. Straight back on it today, and been extra careful.

    Today's plan : Extra Easy
    B - Banana, apple, Mullerlight
L - SW quiche (incl. mushrooms, bacon, onions, peppers), Muller Greek Yog 0.5 syns
Snack - satsuma. 1 slice wm bread HExB with apricot jam 2 syns
D - Lamb shank in mint gravy 1.5 syns, 5 new potatoes, carrots, broccoli, peas, sweetcorn
    HExA - milk in tea/coffee
    TOTAL SYNS = 4

I'm hoping being very good for the rest of the week before next Monday will see a better result for sticking with the plan.

Welcome to the newbies, join in with the chatter for maximum benefit.

Hugs to those struggling, or not feeling so good right now - or with family not well.

High fives, and fist bumps to you lucky losers this week. :D

I saw a post on a facebook SW page today where someone had their first WI today, and they'd lost 1 stone 1lb!! Flaming nora, I've been going 8 weeks and only managed 6! I've had babies and not lost as much as that!

That is a fab result - sorry I am new to SW does that mean you are at target if you lose another 1lb?

I can't understand why I have sts but been 100% all week and even felt a bit hungry some nights in bed? Maybe all the fresh food I have been eaten has messed up my digestive system hopefully temporarily but I will persevere. ;)

    Evening all!

Well done on some fantastic losses! RFD 10lbs in 10 days is fab - just go with it is my advice!!

For those struggling with a maintain this week, think on the positives you are more likely to lose more weight after a maintain, it also puts you in the game for being slimmer of the week if you make it a good loss next week. I try to think like this if I STS, it motivates me to really go for it the following week.

Well I'm been caught out with the flu, being type 1 diabetic it really takes it out of me and messes up all my blood sugar readings. On the positive I've gone right off food and am taking myself off to bed early to avoid munching in front of the tv late into the night. I WI tomorrow so will have to see what the scales say, I have no idea but have done 3 x of my Josie Gibson workout DVD which is a right killer!

At the start of my sw journey I recorded my measurements, I also took a couple of 'selfies' of myself in my very attractive onesie (for those of you that remember I must say I resemble Matt Lucas on Shooting Stars!) I plan to take a picture every 2 weeks, and my measurements every 4. Hopefully to keep me motivated.

I'm off on holiday in just under a months time. Really want to get to my mini-target of 14lbs before then. Ive already convinced myself I'm still going to be following sw as much as I can whilst away, and taking part in lots of activities like volley ball and water polo!

Hope everyone is doing ok, hugs to those that need it.

I will post back tomorrow with my results.

Managed to stay on track today and had superfart soup instead of hash for tea, had a 1syn pack of chicken tikka to snack on after though, but not a disaster, still only did 10 today and lots of superspeed foods.

Hoping to get the all clear to start running this weekend and get cracking on that body magic!

Well done to all the losers this week and good luck to those who STS and those still to WI.
