:T on all the losses rolling in.Perfect - thank you
I normally have 3-4 max cups a day, so thats perfect. I didn't want to underestimate!

What some people do is put the milk allowance into a separate bottle/jug in the fridge and only use that. I started doing that and used to religiously use up any LO in a milky coffee at the end of the day. Someone once said that you had to use all your HEX as part had to be synned?? I ignored that but and after a while I knew that a HEB was more than enough for a day's drinks. I probably go a bit over when I have cereal or porage but I think it's balanced by the other days. That's a bit hit and miss but I reckoned if I stopped losing it was something I could focus on.
Just got back from the Barbican tonight and managed to stick to the plan. Pret do fresh fruit and a very small bar of dark chocolate which we shared on the journey home. We also bought salad and extra chicken from Marks and Sparks and had a picnic in the Barbican. We normally would have been saying this was an 'oh we're out, we must treat ourselves to a pile of cake' event, but we sourced the right stuff and now we're feeling quite SMUG!!!!
I like Pret if I'm caught in town and feeling hungry. They do a salad nicoise with a separate little jar of dressing so I have it almost plain with the tiniest drizzle of oil.gingerfurball wrote: »I know I have to get this "diet" mentality out of my head (please understand that a diet for someone with a former eating disorder is a tight balancing act)
All wisdom and counselling gratefully received lol!
I think you're doing brilliantly, just keep plodding on and remind yourself that SW is healthy eating and not faddy at all.:) I've been watching that Weight Loss Ward programme about weightloss surgery. I started off scoffing (:osorry wrong word) at how they'd allowed themselves to get to such a state then started to realise what an issue compulsive/comfort/addiction eating can be.0 -

That's amazing!!
I should just enjoy it if I were you and stick with what you're doing. It's unlikely to be that much every week but it's 10lbs GONE!!!
My EE menu:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage with HEA milk
L: probably last of LO chicken with veg and pickles but have soup if I don't fancy itpork casserole (carrots, peppers, onions, beansprouts) with rice
Syns: squirt of syrup and syns in casserole (small tbsp each of honey, sherry and cornflour).0 -
Decided to go red today:
b: scrambled egg and slice of ham
l: tuna salad, l/f mayo 2syns,
Muller Greek Style yogurt 1/2 syn, these are so yummy, the coconut one is divine, I can eat them all day long
t: sausages from Sainsb. 1 1/2 syns
HEa: milk
HEb: prob crackers tonight and 2 Alpen light bars as snacks with a cup of tea
syns: I bought the last 3 packets of Velvet Crunch on the shelf at Tesco as they were only £1 - 4.5 syns0 -
Weigh in last night and 2 and a half pounds off so relatively pleased with that.
At the class the consultant said that the Quaker Oats so simple are not a HB any more because the pack is smaller now. I checked when I got home and I had bought the Big Bowl this time (on offer some where of course) and they are 38.5g so also need to be synned and come out at 7 syns per serving!!!!!!

Can they not be used as HEB + 1? I'm sure that's what some people do. I can't see why you would have to syn the whole lot because there is more than you're allowed for HEB.
I find porridge much more filling than a couple of Weetabix. When I have Weetabix for breakfast I always end up eating loads of cold meat, crab sticks, fruit etc right through the morning and then still tuck in to my lunch:eek:.
Well, I'm off to have much lunch now - a big bowl of HM chicken and vegetable soup.

Hi guys, I hope you don't mind me joining in this discussion.
I started SW online last year and lost around half a stone in total (including the weight that I put back on over Christmas!). I haven't renewed my membership because I can't afford it so am just trying to get back into it on my own now and am looking for support!

Wow there are some amazing losses on here.
I have somehow managed to lose 2lbs despite having other people cooking for me a lot during the last week and not feeling completely in control. Thank you 2b for doing the spreadsheet.
Yesterday we had lunch out and the only thing I could see on the menu which could possibly be SW was a vegetarian breakfast. The eggs and mushrooms were swimming in oil but I still ate them. I feel I still have to work on my self control.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I would probably do this too.. if it started affecting your weight loss then i'd swap to something else.
Some fabulous losses today - joanne, sandypan, RFD, poohbear (anyone i've missed!) :T happy claps for you all!!
Hi Leanne, welcome on board!
Just had my salad for lunch and i wasn't looking forward to it but i've got to say i'm coming round to salad now.. as long as they have a lot of variety.

You're very welcome. Do you have books from when you were a member?
I'd suggest you post your menus/food diary as that seems to help. And ask all the questions you like!0
