a STS for me, thanks for the chart 2b

Not happy with that I have wasted a week again but very relieved cause I haven't been in control this week at all. Not very organised either. But.... today is the beginning of a new eating week, so here goes.

I was listening to BBC radio 2 yesterday and Paul McKenna was on promoting his new book about emotional eating and how to stop it. Sounded interesting.

Better run, have a busy day ahead, have a good day, be kind to yourself :A

How do you make magic porridge please? I NEED to find alternative HEXB options to bread that I like, not a fan of many cereals and I need my milk for tea anyway!

There are a few of ways of making magic porridge:

    1. Weigh out 35g porridge oats, mix with Mullerlight yoghurt (or other FF yoghurt) and leave in fridge overnight. I've not tried this method as I don't know at night what breakfast I'm going to want the next morning!

    2. As above, but leave for about half hour and then eat.

    or my preferred way

    3. Weigh out 35g porridge oats, cover with cold water and leave to soak for 10-15 minutes. Microwave for 2 minutes, stirring half way through. Stir through yoghurt and microwave for 15 seconds.

In all cases, add some fruit to the top and enjoy.

    Lots of great losses peops!

    Good to see you Frogga!

I like Magic Porridge made with just oats and yogurt - haven't had it in a long time - must start on it again as it is very filling. I prefer it will the fruit flavoured mullers like Strawberry & mandarin.

Talking of Mullers still haven't come across that Chocolate Orange one!

Still drinking lots of fluids here - really have my fingers crossed for an over one pound loss this week. Apart from the Bread at the weekend I have been on it this week.

    So today looks like this

    B: WW Yogurt & 2 Kiwis
L: 2 Linda McCartney Sausage, 3 Bacon, one fried egg and five beans snackpot

D: Seafood mix, 25g Penne, Passata, Peppers, Sweetcorn and maybe peas.

Getting a bit scant on the superfree today but tomorrow is shopping day

    Morning all

Well done on the losses :T and chin up to those struggling or not getting the results they deserve

Im supposed to weigh in this morning but low and behold the bleepin batteries died when I got on -well actually the first told me I weighed 113lb Then died... am I allowed to accept it's first answer??? :rotfl: I don't know about weighing 113lb -I need to lose more than that :rotfl:... so I will get some new batteries today and weigh in tomorrow morning...

Im still struggling to get interested in food  I have NO clue what is going on -but Im sure it will sort its self out -at least Im not eating things that I shouldn't.

I have an Ocado shop coming at lunch time -MORE fruit -I swear we are getting through it like we are running a chimp sanctuary :p. Whilst I was at it I have put some more 5% fat minced steak in and so when it gets here the idea is to turn 2 packs into chilli and 2 packs into bolognaise and freeze up portions and then I have to get the pork into soak to make hubbies Goan pork for the freezer -hopefully they will give me some cover for the can't be a*sed days
I think today will be a red day -but Im not exactly sure what I will be having *bad bad me* :o -but I know my 3hexAs will be used for 750ml semi :rotfl: .

When hubby gets in from work we about 2pm we need to nip out and get water, charlies yogurts and some cottage cheese (only like those from Lidl ;)) at the same time hopefuly I can pick up the wallpaper and paint - the plan is to order "click and collect" -homebase have a good sale on at the moment so Im getting the stuff for our bedroom and Charlies -we are about to have a change around so Charlie has his own room ....not sure where Im going to find the energy or time to get it done but hey-ho it has to be done.... and I can count it as body magic :rotfl:
Right -enough yapping.. I will get off for now.. have a lovely day everyone,,,

Hope you don't mind me saying but your menu for yesterday looked a touch on the light side!
  • Morning all - well done on all the losses...keep hanging in there for the others :)

I'm wearing my smaller jeans today (size 14) for the basic reason that my comfy jeans (16's) developed a massive hole during the day yesterday (how does that happen!!) these jeans are my summer jeans (3/4's) but I'm wearing boots so you wouldn't knwo...happy dance as they are not as tight as they have been :)

I'm having a light couple of days as I like to keep my carby days to the start of the week and then lighten up as I get towards WI day (Friday) - I had a slice of pizza last night - just cos I thought I should be having syns...it was ok (Dominos margarita) and I calculated 12 syns...I didn't feel right doing it....I think I'm going to have to put my syns into things like butter in my sauces or on my bread and things like that...I know I have to get this "diet" mentality out of my head (please understand that a diet for someone with a former eating disorder is a tight balancing act)

All wisdom and counselling gratefully received lol!

    Food today (so far planned)

B: 2 boiled eggs, yog and fruit
L: yog and fruit (I meant to have a sandwich but we had run out of ham...I might pop out and get something else)
    D: to be decided

Loads of herbal teas and water...:)

this is the method i use - the oats are always so yummy & creamy when left with a muller overnight.
