I went to group last night for my very first WI and lost a whopping 5 1/2 lbs!!! I didn't think I would get anywhere near that, so its def giving me motivation to keep at it.
I have set my next weeks goal at 2lbs.

I tried to make choccie brownies today with sweetener, vanilla extract, eggs and options white choc... lets just say they didn't work out :/

So I have instead made a sort of cheesecake in a glass, using 2 light digestives, 1/2 tub of philly's lightest and a muller light along with options mint choc madness.

I haven't worked out the syn's for it, but am hoping it won't be too damaging? Although I have now realised philly light you can use as a hea, but philly lightest you cant :(

You can now use Philly lightest as a healthy extra although it may not be in your book but it is online. You can have 130g as a B choice on a green day or 3 x 35g Philly lightest tubs as a B choice on green.

If you don't do green days I would count it as 75g reduced fat/light soft cheese or you could swap the Philly for Quark as this if free.

    Hope this helps

This week is not going to end well, 4.5 syns for a LEVEL TABLESPOON (or a sniff, if you will) of crunchy peanut butter, I had no idea :(

Breakfast - poached egg and beans on HEXB toast and an apple.

Dinner - Tuna mayo pasta salad (2 syns) and a packet of tayto something or anothers (5 syns)

Snack - A rice cake with peanut butter on at a friend's house (facepalm syns, thought it was a better option than a chocolate biscuit)

Tea - Minced beef hash with carrots and broccoli, melon with fat free fromage frais.

Going to have my usual hot chocolate (2 syns) before bed and start again, again tomorrow :(

    Evening all

For those that drink semi-skimmed milk and use it as their HEX. Roughly how many cups of tea does that equate to - has anybody worked it out?

I can get 3 and a hot chocolate out of mine if I have semi skimmed instead of skimmed. I like my drinks in big cups and milky though, so I would say normal people should get 5-6? :D

Thanks joedenise and mumoftwo for the advice re syns in home made bread. I will look into that. I can cut bread quite thinly (unless it's still warm) but I think a slice will be quite synful, so I like the idea of chopping it down to 60g - maybe that'll be toty though! I wonder if I could work out the total syns, then deduct the 6 allowed for hexb and count the rest as syns.
