How many syns do you count for a Chinese chicken curry?

I just knew you'd appear at the mention of a Chinese curry!:rotfl:

I sometimes buy Chinese or Indian ready meals for a Saturday night treat and make SW chips alongside. Makes me feel better.;)

    Good EE day today:

B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast,
L: chicken with bubble & squeak
D: baked haddock, cauli & broccoli cheese, new potatoes and carrots
    Syns: cheese sauce

I've decided our suppers are getting a bit monotonous. It's not that I'm bored as such but as DH eats them as well I'm getting a bit embarrassed to be serving up the same things week after week. I think it's because I tend to portion up meat and then keep using it until it's gone so I need to get a bit more variety into the freezer to give me more options. And I have a habit of throwing my meal plan away every week. I've decided to list all the meals this month and try not to have anything more than twice.

Just put 10 (5x2) portions of Bolognese in the freezer. The Aldi 5% mince looked good. I always leave it to cool and spoon off any fat on the surface and there was very little today.

Top Boy's been home ill from school today. Resisted the urge to snack mindlessly though and have structured my meals:

Breakfast - Pineapple chunks with fat free yogurt

Dinner - Superfart soup then a syn of SW pate with chopped carrots and celery.

Tea - 2 pork loin steaks completely trimmed of fat with carrots and broccoli plus a small scoop of mashed potatoes with milk from my HEXA in and approx 25g of lurpak lighter between 4 portions so am counting that as 2 syns.

Trying to superfree and under-syn as I ruined all my good work this weekend with chippy tea amongst other things :(

Maman - Chinese Chicken Curry is the food of the gods lol. Good idea re supermarket version and sw chips - might just do that on thurs after wi!! My dinners are becoming a bit samey as well. So trying to spruce them up as well.

I'm really into salads at the min, on Saturday night I had a baked potato - done in the oven with Chicken Breast cooked with peppers, onions and mushrooms. I then put into an oven dish with some passata & spices and put into the oven for 20 mins. Served with the baked potato and salad! Was delish!!

I seem to eat a lot of bacon on this diet as it cooks quickly! Patience is not a friend of mine and when I get home from work I want my dinner straightaway!!

Tonight I have my stew ready in the fridge waiting for me to heat up and I am going to cook tomorrow nights dinner - Pork Chop with roasted mix veg and brown rice - so its waiting for me when I get home.

When I get in from work is my danger time as I'm usually ravenous and want to eat the entire fridge will I wait for my dinner to cook!!
