    Having another EE day today:

B - scrambled eggs, mushrooms on toast
L - jacket potato, tuna mayo, salad
D - Thai chicken curry, rice

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    HEB - 2 WM bread
    Syns - Mayo 1; Curry paste 1; 25ml light coconut milk 1

Have some bananas & melon left for snacks; also Mullerlights (really need to have some of these as I've got loads left in the fridge as not really been eating them since I bought them last week).

I know I'm a bit light on syns but need to pull back my overindulgence over the last few days, particularly wine syns!

..Speaking of food I need to get a small shop delivered -mainly fruit and veg -I swear my little fella is just like his mummy and is part gorilla -the amount of fruit he gets through is -especially for someone so ickle -still Id rather that than sweets n stuff.... hopefull once he gets to nursery and realises that there are things called sweets he will still prefer fruit *pinkies crossed*;)
Right I had better get off and get that shopping organised..
    Have a lovely day everyone...

I knew a woman who told her child sweets were Shreddies and he didn't learn the truth until playgroup!!

Doesn't look much food though, I don't eat big portions but Think I would be hungry on that.

  • I lost 3lbs in my 1st week so am now 13st 2.5lbs. Tbh I was a little anoyed cus when I took a sneaky weigh in on Saturday, I was 13st1.5 but I suppose that is why we're only supposed to weigh ourselves once per week

Still, 3lbs is a great start so I aint complaining.

Any one got any tips around how to handle my birthday weekend this weekend? Food wise I am going to plan it so that I stick to plan Fri, Sat and Sunday but I know we'll be drinking on Fri and heavily on Sat. Should I save up all my syns? I will be drinking spirits with a diet mixer but I know I'll go way over syn-wise.

Any advice would be much appreciated :) xx

    Hi Everyone,

I rejoined SW last Tuesday weighing in at 17st 8.5lb.....not good!

I requested to change my weigh-in day to a Friday, so I wasn't allowed to weigh-in last Friday as I was only on the plan for 3 days. I have to wait till this Friday which will be 10 days. Then once a week as normal.

I have been keeping to the plan well. I had a chicken curry & fried rice from the chinese and half a bottle of white wine on Saturday. But I had planned for this and hadn't used a lot of syns during the week.

I figured that every now and again will do no harm and I don't plan on cutting the things I love out completely, that's just unrealistic. I know I could have had something with fewer syns from the chinese, but the curry is my favourite.

Look forward to getting to know you all xx

Hi, you could save syns for a few days as long as you don't feel too deprived. Then use flexible syns when you go out for drinks.

Enjoy your birthday! Slimming World is a lifestyle change, and your birthday only comes once a year. One day off won't make or break you, just get straight back on plan on Monday again xx

How many syns do you count for a Chinese chicken curry?

    Afternoon all..

    Mildredd good luck for WI!

    Well done losers..

frankie, i agree with KKat - enjoy your birthday if you want to but get straight back onto plan afterwards.

Well i'm determined to make it through the day on track.. so far, so good

    B - banana, yogurt, 1 cereal bar (3)
    L - 2 toast (heb) spaghetti
T - butternut squash & sweet potato lasagne (hea for cheese) salad, bread (heb)
S - crisps (4.5) clementine, carrot batons. milk (hea)

I was going to do a EE day today but as we're doing Veggie Monday's it may as well be a green day and i can have extra bread :j
