I'm sorry about your de-vaxed carpet GI, but you had me with this one. :rotfl: A toothless thieving villain being able to open the locked lid .... Love it - as long as it's not in my house! How's the dog's digestive system doing?
Thanks HB. The dog is a bit quiet. He only had dry biscuits for breakfast and hasn't eaten them, so maybe he is regretting his midnight feast!
I have finished work for the day. Chilli is cooking, just need to do the rice later. I need to do some paperwork tonight, and some studying. I have an email from my tutor with 'research project' in the title that I don't want to open (I haven't done any and I think she may have noticed!). So I think I will write up Bubba's diary, then log on to the uni site & see what I need to do.0 -

I'll get out another healing candle, for Ozzy this time. (((HUGS))) Vanilla. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Oh Vanilla, poor little Ozzy and how difficult for you. How is your relationship with wherever Ozzy came from? It sounds as though his breeder has the problem and might (or then again, might not) appreciate the heads up. (((Hugs)))
The sitting room and dining room are getting a thorough clean, as in moving furniture and dusting skirting boards. Doesn't happen that often, but it just goes to show that this flying malarky works - a year ago this would have taken all day. As it is, I had a long lie in, I've finished the stairs and made the next stage of the soup for tomorrow as well. I still don't like dusting, but needs must.
I had thought about removing all the cards, dusting, and then putting them back for people to take down tomorrow so that they wouldn't think I was a dusty mare, which I am, obviously. In the end I decided that whoever is detailed to take down the cards will be given a duster to do it afterwards.
'Up here *taps head* for thinking, down there *points at feet* for dancing,' as an old Cornishman I worked with used to say.Better is good enough.0 -
Vanilla - that is such sad news, and doesn't give the breeder vey good feedback either....
I feel I've done a lot of things today, but am not sure it shows! DS2 was out with friends last night, and one stayed over, so he was a little fragile this morning! Soooo tempting to go vacuum upstairs.
I took him and DD for brunch/coffee (for me, as I got up early enough to have breakfast!) then he went to work, and DD and I went into town. Found quite a few little bits, and haven't spent too much money, also remembered to have new watch strap fitted, as market stall there only Friday. Decluttered a bag to Oxfam
It has rained so much that river has now overflowed its banks at one point, flooding half Sainsbury's car park, including the exit. That was fun.
This morning I cleared out fridge and salad drawers, before new shopping arrived, and have also made another pan of turkey stock (we had turkey twice, as found half price bargain), soup tomorrow!
Currently drying DS1's bed linen, ready for his arrival back from Spain this evening.
Time for a cup of tea I think, and I may put dates into new diary at same time.
Tomorrow I'll do some extra bits from he week's lists that I have missed out, but I want to concentrate on decluttering int he kitchen, so that I can paint it end of next week.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Sorry to hear about Ozzie Vanilla - pets can give such joy but bring such heartache sometimes. What breed is he?
Haven't done much housework; made a digger out of Meccano with DS which seemed much more fun than vacuuming! DH looking better now so all good.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
DD3 and fiancee have just been round for coffee and natter so not much done this afty got an hour before DH gets home from work want to wash up (again) prep tea nad get the lounge tree down. I will then have a large pile of stuff to box and put back in the attic over the weekend. but that can be a joint effort.
managed to get all the washing in almost dry as its started raining again here.SPC~12 ot 124

Sorry to hear about the doggie
I've continued pottering and really had a good clear in the spare room. Shame my bin is full and not being collected until Wednesday... But, we are on the way to having it cleared for painting. I've also been in the basket of doom AKA the photo basket. It's also full of kids learning journeys. I've divided into pics and discs and will have a sift later.
Also did a scrapbook page I've been meaning to do for nearly 5 years
Just had to send DD upstairs for being naughty at the table (again). Time to really start focusing on these table manners again. DS sits hanging off the side of his chair like he's on his way out somewhere and DD just wants to eat ketchup then wipe her sleeve in the resthow did we get here?
Anyway. I shall ignore them tonight. Might add some behaviour stars to our meal plan board...Bossymoo
