Oooh, I like that idea - mind if I pinch it? I think I'll need a whole notebook though not just the back of my diary!! I like the idea of a record of things achieved rather than writing a list on a piece of paper and chucking it afterwards.

Feel free to pinch away. I have about 6 pages (12 A5 sides) of note pages at the back of my diary, and one note page per week, so it's only the stuff I can't do immediately that gets popped there. I am hoping that as I tackle it, I will have *less* to do, iyswim, otherwise I will be in danger of running out of pages too. It's only the 3rd, and I have 1.5 pages (51 items:eek:) of things to do, but they are things I only have to do once, so they won't be repeated (I hope!). Everything else, like 'do laundry' or 'buy milk' goes on my daily list.

It's early days, but I'm feeling a little more in control, which is unusual and I like it.

I have to S&S my kitchen sink now, then head off to bed to declutter a cup of tea, a book and some sleep so I am ready for flying tomorrow. Night all!
:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A
  • thank you for the Company Mrs MP, Just the two of us and Dance Mum

Time just started sprawling away from me:
de-gibbling again in the kitchen, rubbish, compost and recycling slung out
    DS room de-gibbled and hoovered
LR and DD4 'cage' de gibbled ready to push the hoover round tomorrow

then off to Specs@vers to collect glasses....was going to go to Mr M to stalk the sticker gun person, but realised I took my credit card out of my phone case when young skints had Pepp@ P!g on youtube on the phone, and only 22p rattling around in my coat pocket :rotfl:

I am sitting here barely keeping my eyes open...so I bid you all good night and will catch on Fred later....hope the New Year is all treating you kindly

    see you tomorrow
The cold never bothered me anyway

Sorry to hear about your pup, Vanilla, hope he's better soon.

Another day at work so another day of flying madly when I got home...
hall and stairs done whilst I had the hoover out doing the rest of downstairs.
WM x 1, DW x 1, TD x 1 and put away, little bit of ironing to do but will save for tomorrow when I wash the bedding. Also need to clean kids trainers as they're pitted from cross country last term!!

Trip into town tomorrow - need a new diary for work, new sim for my new phone, take some too small jeans back to marks, pick up my engagement ring from jewellers as its in for repair then kids at swimming lesson. Could do with throwing together a meal plan for next week too then if I need anything from supermarket I can get it while I'm in town! Phew, didn't realise I had quite so much to do!

Beautiful Dogs Vanilla I have two Staffs they are a handful when excited but usually a pleasure.

I have done a little bit of house work but nothing major, I have just opened my Posh diary to fill it in and it had 3 decembers 2 novembers and no January all in a very odd order lol I have had better from the £shop and that it where I will be going tomorrow to get a 'propa' one.
  • ZCC72 I did try that but I need to have a proper script for the stuff he needs plus the vet does his weight each time. The assistant that I spoke to today told me to ask the bosses when I'm in if they would knock of there fee for seeing him as it will be a long treatment. I'm just dreading when they need to shave him for the dip. :(

lozzy88 there just so good with kids. Bo never leaves DD and I swear he knows about all her wee problems, he's so protective of her. Ozzy is the cheeky one, he'll slip in past us and grab the shoes/trainers from the shoe rack and run off with it. It's usually me that has to chase him. :rotfl:

rippedoff3 my sister's house is always tidy and so is my mums, I think I missed that gene. Everything has a place at theirs, my house is clean but just has a lot of surface damage all of the time.

Right time I was away to bed, awful sore head. Night all.

    Evening all

Shop done when I took DS2 to work, 12 rolls of gift wrap at 19p a roll - birthday and Christmas for a few years sorted.

DS3 struggling a bit emotionally atm so have spent a lot of time with him. He is finally in bed, I have 15 minutes until I get DS2 from work.

Vanilla I hope pup gets better sooner than expected.

I cleaned all the venetian blind in DH office today, a once a year task.

:rotfl: my boydog loves to eat the kids stickle bricks, and my girldog took a fad on Dd dummys when she was very little, she would eat the teats (the dog not dd) we have been very lucky that it has all just made its way out the other end.
  • List updated on page 19 - only a couple of things left to do. I even did some ironing tonight - the first time in months!!

Vanilla - hope your puppy is feeling better soon. It's really upsetting when they are poorly. Our cat was sick last week - only a little bit but it freaked DD1 (age 11) out. She thought he was dying and sobbed for a good 10 minutes even though she could see he was fine moments later.

Anyway, off to bed now, nighty night.

Vanilla - So sorry to 'hear' about Ozzy :(

Hugs & get well vibes to all in need!

I've not got much else done today :o I washed up, dealt with the left over brandy butter (use by tomorrow, now in the freezer & will do us at Christmas if not before!), tidied up the kitchen, caught up with some online programmes, dealt with rough feeling DD a number of times (Note to self: get a hot water bottle), had supper to boost today's calories and even out the fat/protein/carbs balance (this week I've discovered my diet is definitely too carbs based :o) and tided up.

My phone is currently on charge so I'm going to potter around getting stuff together for tomorrow. I know I need to make a run to town to renew DDs bus pass for school and I'm off to see if I can buy a set of make-up brushes, a few other bits and a diary with my Christmas money ;) I might be cheeky and text Ex in the morning and see if I can nab a lift into town since they're going there anyway then walk back ;) That'll save the bus pass I have for when DD has INSET later this month then :rotfl:

Right, off to make lists of where I want to go & what I want, get my bag ready and then hopefully my phone will be charged and I'll be able to go to bed!

Hi, i am a new lurker to this thread, thanks to those who do the work on it, i hope you can help me get out of this mess :)
question though...i am so fed up after visiting a friends house and seeing how perfect it was, spotless, no clutter..i struggle with getting rid of things but i'm working on it.
She isnt the only friend like it, everyone i know seems to be so tidy and clean, where are all the people who struggle like me, and why arent they my friends??!

Most of the people I know are sickeningly boring about their tidy houses too.. my sister for example.. drops her daughter at school goes home cleans every room in the house.. goes to shop, starts dinner, washing up as she goes.. collects daughter feeds her baths her cleans up again.. puts her to bed cleans again.. it is lucky if it get vacuumed once a month in here she vacs about 6 times a day.. life is way to short for such boringness.. I want to knit and read and procrastinate not clean and tidy... I'll be your fried and you can come see my squalor and scruffyitis and you don't even have to be dressed come slob in your pj's lol..
