    Morning All

Well I've brought my ironing pile into the LR ready to make a start so hopefully that'll be all done today although DH is off today so I don't know whether he's planning on doing anything. We are going to my parents' for tea but that's not until 5.30 but everything I want to do needs doing by then really.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning folks

Thank you for all the lists xxxx

I'm back, unpacked, Wm is on, just sorting out the rest of the 'stuff'

A long list of 'other stuff' to do, so I'll be popping in and out all day.

Cat a right pain last night, as he has been looked after very well by neighbour, but he spent most of the night calling out, fiddling around on the bed and generally being unsettled, I'll comb him later and have a 'chat' about sleeping tonight!!

    Have a good day xx

    Morning all

Due to the unexpected trip into town I didn't get quite as much done as I thought, but it's better than it was.

DH achieved the ironing challenge a day early. :T Unfortunately there are some shirts drying and another load is in the washer now, so the basket won't be empty by tonight. Doing the ironing is pretty much his only contribution, though, and as I'm trying to turn the rest of this hovel into a home, I will be leaving it for him for another night.

DH is finishing work at 4pm today and DS1 is working until 9pm (hopefully - he normally finishes at 11pm). Not sure what his plans are after that. DH will be at the club and I'm going to NN's with DS2. Plenty of time for me to get on with 'stuff' in the meantime.

Right. I have just seen a friends facebook post and I now have my new year challenge sorted. She has done her cupbosrd under the stairs into a lovely chill out nook. She has put benches all down one side and at the end (it's accessed from the end of the cupboard not the side IYWIM). The bench at the shortest height of the cupboard has a cupboard which has a little dog bed in it.
We don't have a dog (yet, I think DH is really hankering massively so I will probably get him one next year after our big holiday) so would still possibly build this cupboard in.
However, I'm thinking, the stuff in my cus is books and cd's and dried food. All of that can be rehomed into under bench storage.
DS is desperate to buy himself an x-box so I could make a little gaming area for him in there with everything tucked away.

By the end of January, I want to be well on my way to having measured up and planned out how to achieve this.

If you pop understair storage into pinterest it Will bring up the most amazing reading, games, kids chill out areas its on my list to do x

Good morning everyone, I seem to not be doing anything at the moment, AF has been here for 12 days which is ridiculous, Its my dads birthday today and I have got him 60th birthday cards and he is 61!!! Face palm moment.

I need to get dressed and go to the shop but if I go upstairs to do this I will end up waking ds1 and I don't fancy taking all 3 of them out in this weather. I need a kick up the bum.
