    Thanks Fizz

and hope the do goes well - I so know where you're coming from, sadly.

Our Usual New Year 'repeat of Christmas' is going to be massivley toned down. My youngest sister and hubby decided not to make the journey north again (can't blame them; they were up here last week;) and middle sister and family are in the Big Apple. So it will be us 3; DS's gf and ma and pa. So, in a reurn to what we did many years ago whenI was a kiddie and we had my grandparents and great aunts with us it will be a roast dinner. With OVER A POUND of roast turkey crown per person. Turkey curry here we come...

    DD is doing dessert.

    Evening,

Tiny is in bed! Miracle as she slept so late in the afternoon, bet she wakes up, big one is watching a movie in bed. I'm sorting my ironing pile ready to iron. 35 items, most baby clothes. Also a load to hang out, I really like the smell of my current liquid makes them smell very clean.

I also need to make an effort to be more MSE, I keep buying things so just need to make sure I don't overindulge.

What liquid is it? I'm not a fan of the one I have, its too flowery!

Could you put me down for the ironing challenge please?

I am currently living with my DS at my parents house, we will hopefully be in our new house in the spring! So I don't do much of the housework, I have offered! I just lurk and keep reading all your lovely posts.

I hope 2014 is a brilliant year for you all, its got to be better than 2013 for me! Anyway cheers to you all and positive thoughts everyone :T

A very late night post from me. I've been to work and spent the rest of the day doing an online shop and pottering about the house. Yesterday's ironing marathon rather killed my spirit flying wise.

DH tidied the kitchen and dining room. The floor obviously isn't in his eye line. I've pushed the Hoover round and he was most affronted. You did that yesterday he said. Needs dong 2/3 times a day I said. He simply shrugged.

Men really don't have a clue. ( not including your DH Lamewolf).

Right. I have just seen a friends facebook post and I now have my new year challenge sorted. She has done her cupbosrd under the stairs into a lovely chill out nook. She has put benches all down one side and at the end (it's accessed from the end of the cupboard not the side IYWIM). The bench at the shortest height of the cupboard has a cupboard which has a little dog bed in it.
We don't have a dog (yet, I think DH is really hankering massively so I will probably get him one next year after our big holiday) so would still possibly build this cupboard in.
However, I'm thinking, the stuff in my cus is books and cd's and dried food. All of that can be rehomed into under bench storage.
DS is desperate to buy himself an x-box so I could make a little gaming area for him in there with everything tucked away.

By the end of January, I want to be well on my way to having measured up and planned out how to achieve this.

pixie fairydust it is bold Ruby jasmine gel, currently 2 for £6 in sains.

Today we ended up going to Kiddicare to test a buggy, raced oh back home so I could make him lunch after work and chilled for the afternoon. It's been nice having him around more over the Xmas period, he normally does two jobs so I hardly see him but he's making an extra effort.

I ordered the buggy online, it was on sale, fits my cat seat and will fit my boot. I do already have two buggies that were given but they don't get in the boot and it is a mission to get tiny from the car seat to the buggy, this one just clips in.

Also did an online shop, mum has had to send me some money as work have been in contact to say they can't afford to pay us this month and we will get it next month instead. I'm only on government juice maternity pay so not impressed add it is such a small amount.

Waiting for tiny to wake a bit more to feed her then will sleep. Feel much better for sorting finances.

    Morning all,

Well here it is, the last day of 2013! Can't quite believe another year is coming to an end. It's been a year of ups and downs for us but plenty of fantastic moments for us to remember. I still haven't finalised my goals for 2014. I will set aside some time for that today.

Wow NY eve already. Up early again as its the only way I can achieve any flying. I'm concentrating on washing bedding and dusting my bedroom first this morning before tackling the list.

Have a great day everyone. Oh and Happy New Year.
