Traditional here too, 12th night. The little things like the pyramidand other decorations typical for where I'm from in Germany go up on the 12th (12 days before christmas) or the first advent (4th Sunday before) if I'm esp festive. The tree goes up just before christmas and everything is coming down 12 days after so on the 6th.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250

Mine went on Saturday or was it Friday? Anyway they went away because I needed to tidy up and they were in the way.0

We normally put them up the first week of December and down the first weekend after returning to work in the new year....I love our tree though, we don't really have any other decs and our tree is in quite a convenient place so it doesn't cause aggro while having it up.
We have cleared out the spare room of 'christmas clutter' though....three bags full of wrapping paper and packaging, not to mention a load of stuff from our wedding...
I like my early January clear out, plus I can't imagine not having the tree up for New Year's Eve/day. Me and my friend were discussing this - she takes hers down on Boxing Day.0 -
We normally take our tree down on the 1st, BUT this year we took it down on the 28th.

I want mine down before that so he can do the ones I cannot reach and before Sunday so its not feeling depressing end of holiday all day then, hence fri or Saturday.0 -
