    List until end of Saturday:-

Yesterday, had a good tidy up and decided upon:-

    1) Transplanting some potato plants that have "appeared" in the compost bin. Also, found a bag of discarded "old" potatoes on the roadside which are sprouting. These are stored for now but will be planted once ready to do so. Garden seeds - sow or save for next year?
    2) Count the number of (food/beverage) artificial sweeteners left and make them exceed the usage time of the last container. Aim: to reduce the intake and think/create other "sweetening" options for recipes.
    3) Using things up/decluttering which I will keep a flexible task as some of it I see as "dull, upsetting stuff from the past".

Good luck Doris17, your number 7 thing to do sounds good!

P.S. Thanks SierraDelta87 for the "good luck" and thanks also mothernerd - hope your week goes well too.

    Hello,

Hope everybody has had a good week. Today, I will have a tidy up day and get together another weekly list. Will post this and last weeks results as soon as possible.

(My already erratic tiring sleep pattern and now new neighbors' noise may delay things however).

    1) Transplanted the potatoes growing in the compost bin. Those found were largely planted as some need to be left a little longer to sprout/dry out (i.e. segments). All of the seeds have been sown apart from two types that are far too many for this year.
    2) Have exceeded the time that the last sweeteners lasted for. However, want to reduce these even more. An average daily consumption calculated last week will act as a goal. Plenty of ideas were done to reduce sweeteners:-
    a) less in drinks (aided by small amounts of natural food flavour, better quality coffee/milk some of the time, or rarely, no sweeteners at all).
    b) using other "sweetening" options (e.g. using up old previously sweetened old freezer stored recipes instead, use of berries and "clearance" priced fruit juice, use of veg. e.g. beetroot, "sweet" culinary spices/herbs, or alternatively different menu ideas using up stored coconut and yoghurt).
    c) using things up and decluttering wasn't any different to usual. Those items that never really get sorted were not.

List from Sunday until end Saturday :-
    Sunday - housework mainly done.
    Monday onwards -
    a) the usual rough daily menu plan.
    b) continue planting found potatoes, sow seeds if weeding can be done or land is spare anywhere, prevent nettle plants from self-seeding, prune clematis and fertilise garden.
    c) a note of "required" incoming grocery expenditures versus non-grocery to consider or do.
    d) working out a routine to do various tasks when not disturbed by the neighbors, or going elsewhere from their noise to do so.

Followed my daily menu plan but also purchased some online groceries and shopped locally for reductions and offers. The found potatoes have been planted, more seeds sowed, pruned the nettles and used some leaves for edible purposes/other parts for fertiliser, clematis pruned back also and much of the garden fertilised. Still in grocery budget this month. Gate repair items will be required at some point and optical appointment due so a predicted high expenditure.

Generally, have an idea of when "noise disturbance" occurs so am working around this as best as possible. Somebody told me about "white noise" that you can listen too which along with the computer fan noise seems to help i.e. "better" than their music. Not had to use this yet however.

You are making progress Dannie. Didn't get round to doing a list last week 9and didn't get much done). However spent six hours at the other (up for sale) house, mostly weeding and chopping back. Filled my green bin and also (with permission) my neighbour's. A little bit of cleaning - scrubbed the toilets and wiped the bath (dead spider). Still so much to do but not found the motivation to go back yet (have bought some bedding plants to fill in blank spaces).

Desperately need to get my motivation back (or just plod along doing a bit here and a bit there). Can 'see' how tatty all my stuff is now and also jobs I have started and not completed - things I moved to get at things for DS2 still not put back/ re-housed and a table I cleared months ago (it's supposed to go downstairs) is hovering at the top of the stairs and is so convenient for all sorts of junk + things on the way up or down (plates, rubbish/ recycling/ clean clothes).
