    From today : -

    1) Food related tasks in the kitchen seem too time consuming. Although partly fun, they are disadvantageous in other ways. Plan is to cut down this activity a very lot for the week.
    2) Garden seeds need sowing? Get these done with help if necessary.
    3) Contact the dentist.

    1) These were tasks involving using the oven. Started off well but lack of incoming food groceries and therefore using up fridge freezer plus storecupboard items meant some new recipes. Would be useful to calculate time versus electricity cost, consider quality of food made and also time taken away from other daily activities.
    2) All necessary seeds sowed.
    3) Completed so as not to be de-registered.

From last Sunday until Saturday -

    1) Online food grocery order.
    2) Consider the impractibility of collecting and transporting home groceries.
    3) Fertiliser application to plants.
    4) Catch up on housework/clearing out anything.
  • Haven't been around much as we had some family time together. I'm also going to struggle over the next couple of weeks as I go back to work after a years maternity next week.

Will definitely be back as I need this thread to help me organise myself as it's going to be tricky to juggle everything. But will see how the next couple of weeks go first.

    Hope everyone's well. :D

    1) Tried this service a second time. Convenient and 50p delivery. However, my (main) milk purchase received is always less than requested.
    2) This was tested by walking to and from local shops 2 miles max. Convenient but usually do not stock preferred groceries. Normally higher prices and few reductions which are early morning so maybe missing better prices at night. Also, safety issues; to some extent uneasy on foot in the local community, busy traffic locations where stores are located and reluctant to carry too much. However, exercise and partly a nice scenic route to and from the store.
    3) Done with assistance.
    4) More able last week so did very well.

Hi, is anybody doing a list? My list from last Sunday until end Saturday :-

    1) Work out overspending on milk, sweeteners and dessert making. Try to reduce usage.
    2) Clear weeds to grow my own food.
    3) Still lesser mobility so keep busy doing "uplifting" frugal things at home.

Okay, good, Mav. Hope the gym work goes well. Know what you mean about "not at all MSE"; have had to be moreso myself recently.

Yeah I've fallen by the wayside lately as life has got busier. So back on the wagon . This weeks challenge is to get family to tidy up after themselves and wash up, while I'm at work, therefore leaving weekend free to do big stuff! It's Thursday already so it really shouldn't be that hard:rotfl:

    1) Maybe slightly less money spent on these (trying to switch to cheaper UHT milk/prepare drinks, food and desserts sweetener-free or nearly so). Still a lot of usage though but otherwise might eat more instead.
    2) Quite a lot of weeding on the few sunny and fine days.
    3) Okay but difficult to be consistent and feel uplifted at times. However, mobility much improved.
