    Hi mavvymoo,

Thanks for your message; maybe "plodding" as you say but "winning", not so sure. However, somebody did mention how much has been done at home this year.

Nice for you that you are pleased with your garden. Great when things work well.

Will finalise my weeks list later.

Hi aartisuk. Good luck with your list.

My list started Sunday so until the end of Saturday :-

    1) Calculate May and yearly grocery expenditure. Consider expected additional costs for June.
    2) Superstore grocery order per month - keeping it as minimal as possible as two big bills.
    3) Use fridge/freezer food stocks before buying.
    4) Tidying up.
    5) Check pension for purpose of my will.

    Hi,

Just to say a little late with my new list and last week update. Will try again tomorrow.

Does anybody else make endless lists/have old tasks never getting done?

    1) May groceries were within budget and yearly grocery expenditure are within budget. This if storecupboard and fridge freezer items are accounted for. Additional June costs considered; very unlikely to stay in budget (see 2 above).
    2) Done and was very minimal but extra costs creep in like household items required, making use of vouchers, health products and delivery costs. Two unavoidable bills should be at least £80 - £120?
    3) Using up stocks but making more recipes at the same time.
    4) Tidying up, then untidy again, tidying up, then untidy again ....
    5) Works pension checked and my will ensures nomination, if I die first before receiving it.

Oops, only today left and my list never appeared; not been well this last week. Been wanting to spend more to cheer myself up but never see any bargains. Nevertheless, have been doing some odds and ends from my daily lists. Nearly half of the year has gone by now and it has seemed better to keep doing/completing whatever tasks. Hope to get back on track so today will tidy up what has recently been achieved.

    Hi,

After the tidy up, a new list from Sunday until the end of Saturday will include -

    1) Two expensive health appointment/bills today so work out budget for the remainder of the month.
    2) Update food stock record which will assist no.1 and also improve health from using this existing food.
    3) Update forum posts.
    4) Consider start of year challenges and whether to continue with these or not. Are they a necessity?
    5) Start a new compost bin and read about wormeries.
    6) For the second half of the year; how to improve it?
