Hi I'd like to join please. I'm only at work for lunch twice a week so it should easily be doable. That's 8 days

    Hi,

I'd like to join the challenge, as I'm rubbish for taking lunch to work and even when I take it I end up buying something from the machine  (I have two tins of soup currently in my drawer at work).

    I'm aiming for 12 days

    Thanks

I have been practicing taking my lunch and breakfast to work the last 2 days ready for January. Sandwiches both days using GF rolls and using up leftover Christmas ham, OOD eggs and Christmas treats.

I have had a go at planning my lunches for the rest of this week and next like I do a meal plan for dinners. I have plenty of YS bagels, gf toaster pockets and YS porridge pots to cover breakfasts for a while.

    Good evening, my lovely LTW'ers!

For those of you who are working tomorrow, i hope you have packed something ready? What are you all taking? Don't forget drinks and snacks if you need them.

I am not working until Thursday, when it's back to normal after only working 3 days this week and 2 weeks last week.

Like XSpender says, it may be easier to meal plan your LTW days. I do, and it's easier than having to come up with something on a daily basis. I hate having to think about what to pack, so i do it on a Sunday evening ready for the week ahead.

Sorry to hear you are not well, B17c. Make sure you take enough water/liquids with you tomorrow (if you make it in) as you'll need to stay hydrated if you have an upset stomach.

I am really looking forward to sharing this LTW'ing with you all in January. It's always easier to be part of a challenge, knowing that others are doing the same. I sometimes can feel left out, or like 'the only one' LTW'ing when everyone else seems to pop out to buy lunch from supermarkets, canteens etc.

Just think of all that £ you can save by LTW'ing :) I saved myself £115 in December by taking cereal bars for breakfast and various LTW's. I managed to save all of that, and i was so pleased with myself.
Whether you are putting the money you save this month towards debt, or saving it, or doing something else with it, you are doing a great thing for yourself.

Have a wonderful NYE everyone, and i'll be back to update tomorrow :)
