Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Thank you :) yup, I have rehydration sachets from the docs and I'll drink water all day. I'll have my dinner when I get in and avoid eating at work I think... Not sure I'll get a break anyway. Have a lovely evening celebrating everyone and may the best days of your past be the worst of your future! Sl!inte! x

I've got peas and a gammon shank soaking and tomorrow I'll make pea and ham soup. You can normally stand a spoon up in my pea and ham, so it'll do my lunch for at least a week (if not more!) even with Mr Mooo digging in to it.

I need to get something for lunch on Monday as I'm working in another city and don't want to risk spilling soup in my bag. I will probably do what I suggested to XSpender and make up a grazing pack for myself with fruit, a sandwich and some other nibbly bits.

    Hi Everyone,

    Happy New Year!!!!! 2014. Wow!!!

OK well I am thinking of butternut soup this Thurs and Fri. In answer to your question about why our office is so cold.. The building is a delightfully attractive 1970s design and it has single page glass and holes in the walls in places :rotfl: the heating system comprises of wall mounted fan heaters which are next to useless when the office is about 20ft wide. When the wind blows hard you can feel it. Honestly! The good news is that we are moving buildings soon though.

Anyway, I love this thread and enjoy taking my lunch to work.

    Xxx

Can you put me down for 18 days please. I tried and failed spectacularly to do this last year but want to have a real determined effort this year. Thanks.

I am at work today in the office, me and one other poor soul, in a huge building. Seems awful quiet.......

Today I have an exciting offering of egg mayo sandwiches for lunch and an even more exciting bag with two christmas gift chocolates in for my snack :)

Hey everyone, turns out they didn't need me to work, overstaffed and they knew I wasn't well soooo... They offered, I took!
So even though I was supposed to be at work and now I'm not, I'm not leaving the house for the next 2 days so won't be spending, does this still count as a LTW? As I'll be eating stuff from the cupboards? I fancy soup!

Also, slightly off topic, hope you don't mind, have 'party food' and other processed stuff in the freezer, it won't get chucked but it'll stay there until someone eats it, should I use it all up today to get rid of it and continue the new year healthy and as I mean to go on?
Or keep it in there for when money is tight one month and the healthy will go out of the window until I get paid again?
Or am I tempting fate? Arrrgghghghhhhh! X
