  • Good Evening ...

His_Missus I am so sorry for your loss. Use this thread if you need to tell us how you feel and share your thoughts. Biggest hugs to you and your family!!

Mooooooomin your puddy-tat has a moostache! So cute!!

So today I have been flapping around getting stuff ready for my stupid course tomorrow then realised OH NO! Who is going to look after Dorothy?? Seriously my neighbours are both out tomorrow night which means they can only check on her Friday morning, one girlfriend is in Scotland and the other friend has a little one and no way to get in as I need to take the keys with me and there is an alarm and my neighbours have the only other keys and they are heading out straight from work........Aghhhhhhhhh!:(:(:(:(

Anyway - with enough food out and toys she will survive for 24 hours I am sure... :(:(

So there is a lot of talk of bending the rules - don't you realise I have eyes everywhere and new this already...:rotfl:.. if people can push for as many SFD's as possibly then I am happy, if it means your spending habits change and you save money then I am happy, if you stay away from the shops because there is nothing you need then I am happy and if you are happy in your life, with better meals because you plan more then I am happy.... so there!

Anyway.... time for bed in NSK land and I need to get the Mog in front roaming outside and prep here for being home alone..:(:(:(
I will be off-line properly until Friday when I get home but I will be reading.............. with beady eyes..........

Really sorry to read of your loss hismissus, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Been a busy old day here with cleaning, baking, shopping and washing and tonight I went out for dinner with friends as planned and budgetted for, took £25 but came in at £21.50. I did look at the menu online first so decided a few choices and added them up which clearly paid off.

    Hey all...

First off - my thoughts and feelings are with those who are having a difficult time right now... We're all here should you need us!!! Take some time out and be good to yourselves...

Just a quick check in before work...

My SFD count to date = 9

Had a spendy few days on food and a spilled a pint of water over my keyboard and had to buy another one :( Still - am £15 in budget still and well stocked up, and did some batch cooking yesterday.

Planning on a run of SFDs between now and Sunday...

Have a good day - it's chucking it down here!!! :rotfl:

    Moorrrrnniin

Hope all are ok this fine wet morning.. Im not sure whether yesterday turned into a spend day or not, I bought a pair of ill fitting 'barefoot' shoes over Xmas with my Xmas gift money and got refunded a fortnight ago. So having heard that the shoes are now end of line and soon to be discontinued I ordered larger sized ones on t'internet... Womens and mens to see which fit best! Hope the mens will fit as they are £20 cheaper! :D So is spending gifted money a SFD or a spend?

Update on bank visit is that I am going to get a fixed rate mortgage which will save about £120 a month :)

What a cutie that goatee clad moomin puss is! :D

Have a good day lovelies x

Very sorry to hear about your dad his missus.

I had a SFD yesterday and need to update my totals, will get onto that soon.

I upgraded my mobile yesterday, I currently have a nice but fairly standard nokia at £10.70/month for 100 minutes and 500 texts, so far this bill period (2 weeks) I have use 14 minutes and 4 texts so not a big mobile user. I have upgraded to a blackberry (for the keys, can't abide touch screens) at £10.50/month for 600 minutes and unlimited text and some other number of data (lord knows what that means). I am pleased to get it for less than I was paying and if I don't like the new phone it will go on ebay.

I am very pleased to say that I didn't buy anything in the Boots 70% sale yesterday, didn't bother going to a store but looked online - pretty makeup and toiletries are a big problem for me so this was a huge step forward.

  • Sorry for your loss his missus, sending thoughts your way.

So I have applied for promotion, just waiting to see if I have been shortlisted. Also managed to swap a shift at the weekend.......more money due to unsocial hours.

So today should be, no WILL be a nsd. Yesterday should have been but it was a very bad day and I crumbled and bought a packet of cigarettes. Not proud of myself but I'm being honest. :'(

Onwards n upwards as kat would say. L2B.x
