Thank you Munchin
hope things are good with you?
Today .... well the most important thing is ..... it's Homeland day!
I recorded the latest season when it came on but couldn't quite bring myself to watch it - thinking it wouldn't be as good without Brody ..... plucked up courage (ie ran out of other stuff to watch) and .... OMG - it's great!
1/2 way through the episodes .....
Few spends to report - I dropped off a big box of stuff at the rescue(never got before as have had a stinking cold) - it's a bit of a PITA as I used to go past it on the way to Mum & Dad's but they've moved so I don't now - not sure how that's going to work from now on ... anyway (have you missed my waffling
)
Toaster = £12 (reduced from £20)
Finally got a new toaster (been after one for ages!) - did get one a while ago but it was awful (took it back) - BUT the cable is really short*sigh*
Mug = £3
Broke mine just before ChristmasIt was a leaving present when I left York and came back to Scotland and I've used it EVERYDAY for the past 9+ years. Been struggling with a 'normal' one but I just need my huge mug of coffee 1st thing to function!
It's not as big but better than a normal one
Petrol = £30
Food shopping = £9.28
Not too bad ... right - back to Homeland!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

Thank you Rosa
- back at you! How's things?
So .... today has been an out & out, not happened very often at all recently NSD :j
BUT .... just been for a bath & realised I'd finished my shampoo the last time I was in - luckily my shower gel is also a shampoo but it does leave it a bit squeeky and seems to strip totally iykwim so I tend to only use in emergencies ..... (luckily I have a spray in conditioner so will stick some on shortly) .... went into my toiletries cupboard as soon as I came out the bathroom or I'll be in the same situation next time (if I don't do things when I remember) and ..... there's none in the cupboard :eek::eek:
Those who know my hoarding tendencies will be absolutely shocked and on the floor with horror by now! :rotfl:
I actually can't remember when I last bought it so will def have to get some tomorrow .... conscious I've been on my last bottle of bubble bath for a while too! :eek:
Back to work tomorrowcan't believe I've been ill most of the hols *sigh*
Mum's going to come & get Maisie for a few days- very handy they're so much closer now :T - just not quite close enough to drop her off / pick her up each day which was the plan .... unfortunately they just couldn't find a house close enough in the time available
I'm still feeling pretty awful tbhand it just seems such a shame that Maisie will be back to 'round the park' morning and night after having lovely daylight walks for a couple of weeks (although there were a couple of days they weren't hugely long when I was really ill
)
So, plan is she'll go down there and I'll pick her up Friday after work
My next door neighbour retires at the end of Jan - who Maisie absolutely adores- and he's already offered to take her out for the odd walk which will be fantastic :T and will break up the day for her
Hope everyone has a great week at work .... may it fly by quickly for all of us! :rotfl:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Evening
Have you got Borrow my doggy in your area, Google or FB them...... You register and it matcha with people like me who love doggys but can't have one full time, so will help out daily walks weekend stats etc.
Hope Maisie loves her mini breakAs a dear MSE friend says “keep plodding” or

Hi Rising, things are good here thanks - one last CC left so hoping 2015 will be my last year in the red
I was signed up to Borrow My Doggy for ages but only got one message and by then I kind of had too much else on (plus I can only do weekends anyway). Might be worth looking to see how many people are in your patch though.

mmmmmm had a quick look (thank goodness you can before having to pay the subscription!) - and only 1 person within 10 miles :eek: *sigh* the joys of rural living! *rolleyes*
Maisie is away to Mum's - honestly don't think she misses me at all- it is VERY quiet here BUT TBH I'm going to have dinner & then off to bed as I'm absolutely shattered
