We were given our December pay slips today for our Christmas Eve pay day. It's tricking us into feeling like we've been paid, only my bank account definitely doesn't agree :rotfl:

Rachie I really don't want to take out finance ever again, but it does look inevitable sometimes! I'm going to do my best to save for something semi-decent, but I heard that finance deals are almost working out cheaper than paying cash at the moment, because you get freebies thrown in, so I'm sure there are some perks for you!

Temptation is dreadful and a constant fight for me - not to buy things for myself or spend it going out etc but I fight the urge to buy things for my grown up children and my granddaughter. I have realised that I have a psychological need to buy them anything they even hint at wanting - I need to be conscious of this and find a way to stop myself, if anyone has any thoughts or tips I'd be really grateful!

typical that iw ent to the dentist yesterday and today my wisdom tooth is causing me serious grief!! only 4 weeks til i'm back for the fillings haha.

need to think about booking our holiday soon... i am in two minds of waiting nearer the time to get a last min deal but as its july i dont think you can guarantee it being any cheaper! what do you think MSErs?
