Instead of paying off student fees as intended this month, I am keeping the cash as a buffer for Feb/March instead. Things could go wrong and the rabbit needs to go to the vet so I need to be sensible about paying things off...0

I'm getting really depressed thinking of all the things I need to put money aside for right now. I think I need about £15k to cover everything, which will take a few years even if I'm very frugal! This is when I get really depressed when others seem to be able to pull together the money in 5 minutes flat
MINICOOPER i had friends like that, they always seemed to find the money no matter what the occasion, emergency etc and i used to rack my brains thinking how do they do it they must be very good with money, then i found out they were £50k in debt, and had nothing to show for it, it was silly things like bbqs, parties, new cars, meals out, shopping at waitrose to keep up appearances, throwing money at the kids to go into town on a saturday, clothes etc then all they used to do was take out loans, remortgage the house, borrow from family, and then pay it off, then start again, i would be living on my nerves even more than now #103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -

Yes, I think some of them do have a lot of credit, but others don't have any, and they're the ones that bug me! I suppose we just don't know their expenses though. Maybe some people decide they're saving, and only eat porridge for a month? I don't know - it's like the secret of skinny people who eat everything!0 -

Horrid realisation earlier that Ive been in debt for almost 12 years... basically my whole entire adult life (turn 30 in March). I need these debts gone, once and for all.... I'd honestly cry if I hadnt already cried so much todayWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Hello everyone, can I join please???
I am determined to get debt free, and even though one of my loans doesn't end until Nov 2015, I really think I can sort out a lot this year. I have only been on the forum since September and already have sorted out so much thanks to this website.

I'm really impatient and have to wait over a week to pay something off!!!!!:mad:In debt no more!0
