#122 £10/£9870
Woohoo off the starting blocks.
I. Also patiently awaiting responses for 4 debtors regarding full and final settlements. I've had a response from one but they want an income and expenditure form filled in and sent back to 'see what they can offer'.
My husbands salary gives some excess but..... Well long and short is that's not my money so it's not exactly excess to me so any advice on how to approach that issue on the form? Do I underestimate his salary or overestimate outgoings?:oWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Is it too late for me to join please? I've got £2540 to go....Pay ALL your debt off by Xmas 2014 member #126Debt to pay....

Just closed my Cap1 card! Not a payment as such as BT from another card, but rate on amount has gone from 30 plus% to 6%. Also just waiting for Next returns to show on account, then i'm closing that too. :jLong haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0

Hi all
Just checking in.. made a big step today! The largest debt of just over £8k I have been paying £50 per month for the past 2 years. I had the money, but was not making myself the true broke that I realy am and still carrying on with the lifestyle that got me into debt in the first place.
Today - I re looked at my spreadsheets I did pre xmas and I said that I was going to pay £700... so I changed my standing order to pay that amount every month now.
I feel a bit sick - like a little child who has had their pocket money cut off! BUT I realise that I am am wasting time paying minimum payments and then spending £650 on luxuries whilst posting on here!
Feeling embarrased as you lot all work so hard at debt busting and Im a fraud.. but I'm going to do it now once and for all.. I shall be here next year... but with saving targets NOT and I really mean NOT in debt still
Sorry to be childish but I need a group hug, this was a really hard thing for me to own up to and commit to :-(

You are NOT a fraud!
You were paying off your debts and now you are paying them off a bit quicker.
We all do this debt paying off in different ways, so long as the figures go down it is working.
Big hug tho cos I remember changing my payment for my loan to what amounted to my spare cash each month and it was bloody scary!
still not forever eh? XXXX
Also whilst I am here -
120/4600
so current debt is 4480
XXXNevertheless she persisted.0
