  • I am assuming that when people state the amounts paid off that they have removed any interest charged at least that's what I have done so I now it's definate amount from debt. I am determined that my debt total will not increase and I am trying hard not to think about the amount of interest paid :-( still fingers crossed it will only be the next year or two and I will be debt free :-)

    Hi yes I remove interest for my mortgage payments and therefore only declare capital reduction. I'm really paying out 16000 this year but my capital only decrease by12, 600. :eek:

    On 1st of January I had a 2014 money target of £12105
    made up of £5k by May (holiday), £2.5k emergency fund, £2.5k Mortgage overpayment, 1.74k Credit Card.and £365 in £1 a day challenge
    I have already paid off £1439 of this

    So current status is

  • Ok guys I overpaid 2 bills today :-) amount off my debt is another £37.70 #114 running total is in my signature :-)

    Are we supposed to update like I have or update the running total amount?

    This month is not going well, all my money going out before i have it.
    doing what i can to boost my money. listed stuff on ebay, set up folksy account to sell my handmaid stuff and picked up some overtime.
    will just have to stay positive as i know things will improve.
