Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
So, I have worked out that I have paid.... £155.11 so far....Not bad for a start....considering I'm on a fairly low Income right now....things ARE improving but I have Course Placements on a Monday, Thursday and Friday.....so the time I can Work is limited....but I am still managing to pay my Debts....which is great and something that I'm proud of!! :)

The amount still owed might fluctuate a bit if interest is added....not sure how other people take that into account...perhaps someone can enlighten me on that...??

Feeling positive....Have had about 2 and a half hours sleep....but I'm still awake and, after X Factor, I shall be Working until about Midnight...then sleepy time... :D

    Exciting times ahead for me....
I have paid in my challenge tin. We rang up to get a settlement figure for loan (£500 less than if we hadn't overpaid) and fil is going to loan us the remainder. We think it will be £1600. So instead of having nearly £7000 as our target, we will have less than £2000. Hubby is sorting it all out this week so will update properly when I know the exact figures!! Exciting stuff! My frugal ways have really paid off, just saving the grocery savings has saved us over £1000! Amazing really!

Well done :T an it's good to have a partner in crime.

As for interest and charges, I didn't worry about those and just counted my payments. I paid about £18k or something but it was only £13k in reality  so now I have a spreadsheet with a total and the amount paid off is subtracted. Whenever interest is added it gets paid off with the next min payment so I just wait until then to declare the payment.

Some fantastic progress on here from many in the group. A delight reading through the posts.

Were off fishing in a bit and if you have a look at the stories in the press around the Giant Crab, measuring at least 50ft across lurking in the waters off Whitstable !

Not saying that pic is true but it is well known, that something has been cutting through fishing nets in that area for past 5 years. Some strange things out in the Seas I can tell you! :)

Everyone is welcome and doesn't matter that it's this late. Every little helps :)
  • O fab if I only clear one card this year its a head start from starting in January and I will def be less prone to add to it over Christmas too so bonus all round.

That is the philosophy we all like to adhere too.

Shame it doesn't always go to plan but that's life sometimes.
