    Hi all

I'm not a member of this thread and feel its too late to join in now as we are in October.

I will be watching carefully for the DEBT FREE IN 2015 thread to pop up as fingers crossed we should finally be debt free in 2015.

Well done everyone you are all doing great. I am hoping to have gotten the debt down to about 9k by December.

Will be tough to kill off 9k in 1 year but I am determined that the debt will be gone next year.

    xxx

Steph - you're absolutely welcome to join this year! I will take new members right up until Christmas eve if it means people start tackling their debts sooner! If you want to join, just let me know how much you want to pay off by Christmas, and I'll give you a number.

Oh dear, this doesn't sound good! Hope everything is ok.

I have managed to start paying off some of my moving costs now, so I'm currently sitting on:

    £1550/3500 = 44.29%

My OH was so impressed by my budgeting this month, he got me to help him sort his out too. I got him to set up a standing order to his savings account, and also persuaded him to set aside an extra £100 per month for car expenses.

    Well done mc!

Everything is ok but Oh has been poorly so there were prescription costs, dental costs and then obviously car costs.... I need to budget in new tyres at some point. It's been a tight few months so I have no spares but hopefully if I stay in the green this month (just can't buy anything apart from gas, electric, petrol and food for two weeks) then I should have some extra money to stash next month!

Sleep well everyone, must catch up with all the exciting news on here but I'm off to bed now
  • Hi all, it's been a while as I'm currently away in Afghanistan as I'm in the RAF.
