Of course you can! You will be number #214. Just let me know how much you want to pay off!
I have a little dilemma, I hope people don't mind me asking:
I have a sealed jar that I put loose change into at the end of the month. I was going to wait for it to be full, then use it towards booking a holiday, but because we found a good deal I ended up not waiting for the jar to be full. It's still not full, and I'm in two minds about opening it for spending money, or keeping it until it's full and using the money for something else. What would you do?0 -

I would use it for spending money on the holiday or maybe use it for Christmas expense.DMP started Oct '17: £79,974 :eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Hmm, ok, I will open the jar! Maybe I can use it to buy Christmas presents while we're away and tick two boxes at the same time!
It's our anniversary at the end of this month, so I've agreed with OH that instead of presents we'll each pay for a show or something while we're away. I just stumbled on Zombie Burlesque - might make that my gift :rotfl::rotfl:
amr I hope you're OH feels a little better soon. Job hunting and dealing with rejection is never fun - it's pretty soul destroying in fact! He just has to keep on at it really, there isn't a way to make it any better except to finally get the new job.0 -

Hi, Not been here for ages. DF has gone on the back burner quite spectacularly as we are saving like mad for a holiday of a lifetime at the moment -next Summer is the last year in 10 years we won't have public exams (GCSEs etc) with the kids, so we are making a trip to see my family in Australia. It's costing a ridiculous amount of money, and we're paying the minimum on all our cards until next Summer and then we'll start chucking everything at the debt. I don't think our total has gone up (or not by much) but it's not gone down either.Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0

I've had a wobble this month and been spending way more than usual. I ended a relationship with someone I was seeing at the start of the month, then felt guilty/sad and felt the need to treat myself/cheer myself up by going out and spending lots. Doh!
Anyway, feeling better now and hoping I can redeem myself, but I think with xmas and a trip to amsterdam coming up the debt payments will have to be reduced until the new year. Frustrating that I can't pay more off but there's only so much you can do!
Paid the minimum £25 off one card a few days back taking me to:
#163: £4659/9141 (50%)
Hope everyone else is doing wellStarting 2016 debt-free
Emergency Fund: £350/£10000
