Love this site and love this page but as somebody who is a little bit older, not old but more time lived than going to live!!!!!!! Can people start loving and living the moment! It is tough when you have no money and bills to pay I have been there!!!! But one thing you can never get back is time! I understand why people are desperately waiting for the next pay day but you will never get those lost days back.
Don't want to sound preachy but just felt it needed to be said and it is non judgemental and the benefit of experience, honestly and meant with love x

I suppose it's difficult though, we see a lot of people's money related frustrations posted on here, but not an awful lot of the life that goes on off-screen. I'm definitely guilty of counting down to next pay day, because I did a little too much living at the start of the month... But it's true, we do need to remember to find a balance.

    108 here.

Made another payment to the credit card, so now I'm at £5372.79/£10,000.

I was having quite a good day, despite having to shell out a hefty bill for car maintenance. Then I got home and found a medical bill relating to OH's accident waiting for us. Over $5,000. The insurance company only paid a tiny bit so now I'll have to phone them on Monday and start arguing about it, though I don't fancy our chances of getting anywhere. Now I just feel really rubbish. Between that, the dentist, the car and and the house insurance I've had bills totaling over $8000 this week. Feel like going and just hiding under the duvet. Any time I think there's light at the end of the tunnel something else comes along to kick us in the teeth.

    :(:(:(

Drum roll please.......paid an extra £2 off today!! :D

Okay it's not a huge amount but it was my quidco cash back, and it's better to have £2 off the credit card than £2 added!! Hoping my lunch duty overtime gets paid at the end of the week as I am planning on using the money to pay a little bit more off the card. :)
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

Made another payment to the credit card, so now I'm at £5394.18/£10,000.

Feeling a bit more positive today (wouldn't be hard compared to yesterday!). Trying not to think too hard about the fact that if OH hadn't had an accident we could have hit the target by now. Instead it's cost a fortune and we're actually going backwards. :(:(
