It's a bit of a shame - I did a quick tot up of the number of members who have joined and never returned, and it's around a quarter. I'm hoping there's some serious debt busting going on, and they've just lost their way to the thread! Or that they're all lurking and waiting to declare a big payment at Christmas?

That is a real shame Minicooper...

Well i forgot to phone up and make the payment today, we had our niece around to help with the business today and it slipped my mind, then we had lunch arranged with friends at IKEA as a treat for the kids (Hers and our)

As much as I begrudged spending the £10 on IKEA food, it was nice to leave the house and be with people today, sometimes working from home with only a 4 year old and your wife can be very lonely with only internet friends for company (not that I dont enjoy coming on here)

On the plus side I found a load more stuff to job lot off today, so that will all be getting listed tomorrow with a view to ending sunday night and having lots of money to clear my debts by monday

Sometimes I look up and pray for the strength to solve my financial problems and a little help and guidance, then some miracles happen occasionally!

Now is one of them, in the 12 minutes after typing on here I have turned around from my desk and found a very limited edition model I forgot I had - now funnily enough I had a customer phone me up yesterday (as in the 13th asking for this exact train giving me a generous budget of what he was willing to pay for it, I will of course give him a good price and not rip him off for his maximum budget - but it makes me wonder sometimes if somebody is watching out for me, tapping me on the shoulder and telling me it will be all right.

I do not post often but am still debt busting. Not done much off my target this month due to Barclays changing their overdraft charges we have been working to get out of our overdraft which we should both be by June 16th. It isn't a debt I included into my target but it was nearly an extra 1k and by payday it will be gone and then i can concentrate on getting my target debt down this year.

I'll be back at the end of the month :)

    Hope everyone is staying positive!!

Congratulation! I have just been working out as soon as this guy pays me for what I found last night (he confirmed he wants it already this morning) then I will need to find a total of around £35 from somewhere to hit 10% of my annual target

I'm glad there are some people just lurking - I was a little worried I'd scared people off!

Good find there, I love it when those unexpected windfalls happen! Sadly I'm pretty sure I don't own anything of value, I'm very jealous of all those antiques roadshow people finding valuables in the attic! :)

Being in business its amazing the stock I have amassed in job lots that just gets ignored/missed for the quicker sale items - it just turns out I missed something and it nearly brought me to tears last night when it turned out to be exactly what my customer from tuesday wanted.

If people knew the money that came into my hands each month, they would be shocked to find were struggling on the breadline because of money going out to the poison debts, and that is exactly what they are - horrible stinking poison debts.. Our debt busting plan has us paying £542 a month in overpayments for arrears we have created growing this business and from our unpaid redundancy, this is a small mortgage payment every month

It made me laugh that in one of our very best months last year, if we didnt have to pay stock, marketing fees etc - we would have had enough to reduce our mortgage by 5%

I often say to my OH, if we didnt make the mistakes in our early twenties we would be really quite well off by now, and poor months like last month wouldnt be a stress. Hence we are scrimping every penny to pay the debts off, my little one needs a scooter and its thorugh luck we found a argos voucher which will pay for it so its reserved at argos - that will be my weekend spending. we have vowed that he will not go without for the sake of our mistakes!
