Pay day from 2nd job today and I did an extra shift there last week so £30 transferred to the loan. Total paid off now

Popped a couple of payments off the cards already this month, SO came out, penultimate 0% payment on one rate and the start of the next 0% rate for my MBNA card. So three payments already. Hit the Nationwide cc with £113.63 which was this morning. Bringing my total target paid to 14.1%.
Thoroughly chuffed.
Oh and another £200 went toward my savings! Double boom today.
It's taken me a long time to sort the bad debt into good debt (0%), but for the mortgage app this must go, so final push for me. Need this gone ASAP.
Buuuutttt, Found a really good price on the supercharger for my track car...........must resist the bay of e. I know I'll regret it in the short term, but long term it'll be fine I'm sure.........but more ponies under the bonnet would be nice. They don't come up second hand very much.
But it's minimum of £900 so it's a no brainer.
But it's so shiney and whiney and just lovely.

As a fellow speed addict...
Do it Do It Do it
Good deals do not come up often, i did the same with an engine i have been after for 6-7 years in march.. And rewards for our all our hard work reducing debts must be paid back to us, after all the stress we take to pay them off whilst being chased..
But as a debt free wannabe - ask yourself how many months extra will it take you to pay off your debts including this money?? if it is acceptable then id say go for it!£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!

Your right in both regards. It ends in a few days, and it's cash, so I would be ruining my first santader 123 payment in month 1...... which would be stupid.
I need the house (well garage/workshop really) and I have a car which needs other priorities before adding horses. Plus the forged engine I am building would go in frst ideally, and thats even more money I currently don't have.
Hope your project is keeping you busy? They are so much fun, but motorsport definitely aint a cheap pursuit.
So head says I'd be stupid to buy. Heart, well thats deadicated to speed, so thats a hard one to fight.MBNA £788.82/£1,416.82 Nationwide cc.£743.12/£906.75 Bike Finc£916.71/£1,083.37 DFW Christmas2014 #195 £958.29/£3,406.94 28.1%paid

Woops... While trying to work out how much I'd get paid this month, I accidentally entered my pension contributions as £2/year instead of 2%... Bit of a difference! I was paid about £20 less than expected, but I've already spent the £20!0

My Projects (there are 3 projects in total) fit in with my budget most of the time and pay for themselves through selling bits on and a bit of whealer dealering..
One is just bodywork at the minute before she gets paint - that is just the cost of basic consumables which is good as its a cheap project when months are tight (And i learned to weld last month)
One needs a single patch for a MOT, then gets the big engine I bought last month and put on the road, just a fast road car
The third is my track toy - not supercharged, or anything, just a stripped out car, with a 2.0 dohc and a megasquirt for me to learn to map on, got all parts apart from a few consumables but I am seam welding the shell on that as well so its also a very cheap project at the minute.. I have about 50kgs of welding wire, its just the cost of the gas and electric the welding is costing me as I have some body panels for the patches from previous cars I have broke
The forged internals car sounds expensive! and it needs the 'charger to make the investment on forged internals worth it :rotfl:£4142.49/ £131,795.91 - 3.14% paid off or only £129,608.80 to go!
