The only unexpected spend so far (I get paid on 25th of the month, so I budget from that date), is to the local chemist for some hayfever spray (£5.40) as I'm really suffering overnight, more than ever.
I'm glad I'm not the only one suffering more than usual this year. The pollen is really bad where I am too, I can feel your pain! I'm a mild sufferer normally, but keep waking up in the night with a bad nose.
Pay day finally arrived! Will send money out at the weekend. Too tired to focus on it at the moment.0 -
my hayfever is dreadful at the moment too. it affects my ears so i can't hear very well lately.
i need pay day to uhrry up !!! ha ha ha ha. i can't wait for june's payday - OU fees will be paid and therefore i will have £100 more! hoorayevery little helps... it's going in the holiday spends pot though. clearly have my priorities in order, i know.......

My hay fever is also a nightmare, every time I walk outside I get the drippy nose and swollen eyes thing.
I'm excited to se the end of month totals!!0 -
#31 reporting in, gleefully for the last time as we've paid off the last of our debt.
a £347 payment to the CC means our challenge total is
£3,072/£3,072 = 100%

We are so chuffed that our debt is finally gone - only the mortgage remains. My maternity pay starts tomorrow and then I'll be back part time so we've a whole new challenge living on less income. Thanks goodness that debt is gone.
Thanks for this thread - to the administrators and especially minicooper. It's been crucial having this challenge to keep us on the straight and narrow.
keep going peeps, and very best of luck

Feeling sad because I don't have any spare cash to overpay the cc. Just raised a few invoices but we've got to take the car in to the garage next week for them to tell us how much work needs doing etc. Sounds like its going to be between £500 - £1000.Hopefully it won't be too costly, if it is DH will want to get a new car instead....and that's a whole new problem!
