Phone them up again and see what they can do. I phoned up on Thursday fr myself and my mum's bills and saved myself £20, and she saved £30
My bill has went from £85 pm to £65 pm, and her's went from £90 pm to just under £60

Girl told me to phone up next year again as there's no doubt prices will rise again and see what can be done then :)

I haven't managed to pay off anymore debt this month as I just can't afford to :( Payday this Friday though so will be paying off a good lot then.

I've been a bit depressed also as I've come to a stop on my Ebay listings for a fortnight now, the items I've listed just aren't shifting. I can't and refuse to drop the prices any further as they are already under half the price I paid for them in December. They were duplicate presents and not cheap either so that's getting me down. One cost me £35 and I have t listed at £15 and still nothing :(
I've just listed them on Amazon to see if that helps, however I can't figure out the postage prices there. It won't let me change the postage cost to a lower price??

I'm toying with the idea of getting a loan out of the Credit Union to pay off my Credit card, and then hiding the credit card so I can't use it, and deleting my details off the likes of Amazon etc so I can't use it at all. That will mean I can pay £20 a week off the Credit Union and it won't be so daunting at the end of the month. That way I won't have to look at my bank account each time I make a payment to my credit card and I won't feel so depressed looking at the little I have, and the CU is at the bottom of my street so I can call in anytime each week.already

As I said I'm just toying with the idea ATM. Just awaiting my statement from Ebay fees then transferring the rest of my paypal account over to the bank account.

All I can say is roll on Friday so I can pay some more debt!

OH and I went away on holiday and it's given me a chance to relax and assess exactly what I need to do.

Have paid a chunk off the overdraft and went in to the bank to reduce the overdraft accordingly; every staff member I spoke to was taken aback when I said I wanted to decrease, not increase my overdraft :rotfl:

Have updated now - hope you had a lovely holiday, go anywhere nice? Also I used to get that all the time whenever I reduced my overdraft. I'd say I'd want to decrease, they assumed that meant decrease from -1500 to -2000! All the more satisfying when you can say what you really mean!

I think my financial control is starting to slip a little bit again.

Made a bit of a mistake with train tickets that has cost me about £20, which isn't a lot on its own, but I have had a few things like this lately that I think add up to about £80 this month alone... I have been very good at avoiding temptation, but when I've gone near temptation I have gone a bit excessive too!
