I'm a big fan of the challenges and agree a sub-forum would be a great idea. A lot of people subscribe to the challenges anyway so it wouldn't really matter to them where they're stored and leaves the main thread free for adviceSPC Member #112 :A Save £2k in 2014 # 160 :money:0

Any more opinions?
Seems to be that it is mostly the weekly/monthly challenge threads that are clogging up the main board? Was decided when the Diary Board was set up that those ones would stay on DFW while the longer terms challenges and threads would move over. Inevitably that has meant people being canny and in some case converting longer term challenges into monthly ones, or creating monthly ones in preference, choking up the main board.
So now it would make more sense to have a whole separate board for them all together?
That will also make the of indexing and keeping track of the various challenges easier for threads like the List of Challenges - 2014Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I'm bumping this for the simple reason that I'm looking for a specific thread and I can't find it for tripping over the various challenges. It would be far better if they were all in one place.

Thanks everyone, we're aware of this and will talk it over. I think it sounds a sensible idea but we're not all back from the Christmas break yet so if you could give us a little more time that would be great.
Thank you!

I agree as well - I don't tend to do the challenges and if I did want to then a separate section would make it easier to identify them. It does look a bit daunting if you are new and see all of them listed at once, and it is harder to see the posts where people may urgently need help.
Thanks to the MSE team for the quick response, just wanted to add another 'yes'!

And another "yes" from me, great idea, it would really tidy the DFW forum up and make it a lot easier to find things.
Thanks TTFTM :TThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
