Moving everything together makes sense for those who already have got good deals on their utilities and are making inroads into other overspending areas. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0

Agree from me too! I am more of a lurker but find some of the advice extremely motivational and helpful and I quite often avoid the DFW page because of all the challenges.0

Little update:
Have had an email from the MSE forum team which says "Thank you very much for the suggestion. We'll add it to others to discuss amongst the team in the New Year."

OK. If they are aware of this, then I'll leave this thread here for now to maximise the chance of people seeing it and contributing opinions. Then in the new year I'll either move it over to site feedback, and/or remind the team with a email and a link.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I think that is an excellent idea, be much easier to find everything and give people help.

I'm another in agreement.
I use the challenges and find it frustrating when they're sometimes moved to the diaries section if they become popular (like the early NSK challenges).
It would tidy the board up and maybe make the first page less daunting for newbies or those seeking help.:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Also agree. I don't often have a chance to read the diaries (I didn't realise that sub-forum existed until a few weeks ago) so didn't realise that some challenges were over there. It makes sense to me to have a separate 'challenge' forum.Novuna personal finance 0% 4-year £518/£1866Credit card debt free! Now on the journey to mortgage free.0

Great idea - I haven't been on for a while and when I did, I was put off a wee bit as it all seems in need of some housekeeping. Looking forward to the change.DFW Nerd Club # 13640
