I moderate a wargamimg club and enforce a policy of not having more than 3 or 4 stickies per ladder on page one, because as TTFM says, if the front page is full of stickies its hard to find the posts that I really can help with.
Please prune the stickies and thanks TTFM for raising this !.0 -
I'll wait so see if there are more opinions on this over the next few days, then I'll bump the thread over to Site Feedback and send MSE Team a link.
Thanks Fermi and thanks to everyone for all of the support for this idea :T

I think this is a really good idea. I think it will benefit people looking for individual advice as well as those who will find it easier to find their challenges to post as they quickly get lost in this busy forum as well.
Sounds like a great solution.Sealed Pot Challenge #239

Great idea. Love the challenges but right now they're 'polluting' the dfw board to such an extent that it takes too much effort to spot the ask for support dfw postings.0

I remember when the subforum for diaries was set up, and people were worried that the diaries would be ignored, and people would miss out on good advice. In fact, diaryland seems to have thrived, and I would anticipate that a challenge forum would also thrive.
In the current economic climate, I think more and more people are going to need quick and good quality help, so keeping the main forum clear for that advice and support would be really useful.
Is it also worth reviewing the stickies and making sure everything's up to date? A bit of spring cleaning, as it were.0 -
Hiya.
I would agree that it would be brilliant to have a debt-free challenges sub-section and move all the challenges over to the same section.
I am too new to finances to try and offer advice to others but I do enjoy taking part in challenges and being a simple soul, I sometimes struggle to remember where the challenges are.
