Thank you so much for keeping us all updated, I know you will send our love and tell her we are thinking of her xxx
Wowee! that looks amazing!
Well I have taken the first step! I've contacted both estate agents and asked them to remove the flat from the market. We will start afresh early January with a new appraisal and then start the process to have the price lowered, fingers crossed!2024 Challenges

I'm taking a loss on the flat so we can get shot of it and buy a shared ownership house that will not only give DH his much longed for garden, but ease the financial burden so that I can cut my hours back and actually spend some quality time with him.
Feisty I think you've got exactly the right approach - time with those we love is so much more important than everything else. I did something similar because my DH has poor health - I can survive on very little money if I have to but I'd hate to look back think that I'd wasted precious time that I can never get back. Good luck to you both.Gettingtherequickly wrote: »Well, Jess & Fred are still together although she is desperate for a divorce! Thanks for the update GTQ - let's hope that Fred gets his marching orders very soon and that JJ is soon unattached, home and feeling a lot better.:)It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Been AWOL for a few days but I have been reading. Congratulations and good wishes for the new arrival and gentle hugs for those that need them..
Progress being made slowly on the decorating front, finished my bedroom tonight, redecorated, papered, furniture built you name itall on my Todd as DH doesn't get home from Brazil til tomorrow. That should hopefully let me begin the clear out of toys and getting everything ready for decs up.
I don't put mine up until the second week at least, think that makes me a poor festive fanatic
Finished kids bits for the Xmas Eve box (from the elf) bar edibles I think. It has a rather frozen theme so they will hopefully love it. Ds2 wanders around singing "ret it go" all the time

Can any of my christmas elf friends help? My youngest loves the muller bear and we would love to get her one but really can't stand the muller rice! Does any buy the muller rice remix and not want the codes for the bear? I'd really appreciate the codes messaged to me if possible! Thank you!!!Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0

How cute is this ?
Argos single £9-99 double £14-99 sadly no kingsize .
Out of stock everywhere in my locality and no wonder! How cute. Penguins and owls are definitely this year's thing.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Hello all, feeling a bit more christmassy today
How far in advance do you reckon I could make a gingerbread house? I want to make one for our work lunch but it's on a Wednesday and I have a pole dancing class Tuesday evening for an hour before. Ideally I'd like to make the gingerbread the Sunday before, assemble it Monday night and decorate it Tuesday night. Equally I'd like to make my sister and BIL one for Christmas£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0 -

I've made mine two weeks before and still tastythe actual gingerbread lasts forever (sugar and ginger preserves it), the sweets may go a little soft if decorated more than a week though x
I'm thinking of adding jingle bells and candy canes to my gift tags this year. I think I will go with brown parcel paper with red and gold ribbon! This year I'm determined that my wrapping will do the presents justice!2024 Challenges
