  • mcculloch29 - last Christmas I saw brushed cotton bed linen set in Primark, didn't buy it, went back couldn't get it, regretted not getting it so much. So this year when I spotted it in Sept I bought it!! Can't wait to get it out!! Yes it only gets use for a few weeks a year, but in my books definitely worth it :D . Next year I'll probably start using it come September! haha!

freespirit66 - don't worry about the car kissing post incident, it happens to us all. Only some of us aren't so lucky in the lack of damage. I'm not sure if I shared my embarrassment in here or not, I definitely shared the new shiny car news back in July, well last month new shiny car was caught on a wall in a car park, going forwards, drivers side rear £300 worth of paint scraped off. 6 years of driving, 1000's of miles every year (done 3,000 since July!) always park in that same car park and I catch a the wall of a spiral to get out of the car park, going forwards, gone down there millions of times... I'm still kicking myself about it, just can't believe I did it!!
It is a big decision and a tough one... I think I would regret it if I didn't at least try and get up there. Doesn't hurt to try :)

IrishRose12 - Aaah I want one of those jumpers now!! lol.

    Hello xx

    Hope everyone is okay :)
Plans are to go back to London (if they call to say a bed is ready) this Wednesday.. so fingers crossed I suppose lol.

Tomorrow I will wrap and tag my brothers Xmas presents (I got him a pair of jeans with belt on a sale for £12 , plus a personalised glass with a bottle of Guinness set £10)

If I have it my way me and mum will pop to home bargains tomorrow lol. I want to finish off one more person before I go to hospital lol x

If anyone see's any good deals for pandora charms (which is highly unlikely) can people let me know , want to get mum at least one charm.
Also need to go to card factory. x

    Hugs to all. x

mrsmoneypenny I love the oven gloves/cosy/apron set, I might have to treat myself when I am there Friday morning - hopefully there will still be some in stock. I am also going to have to see if I can get smooth christmas radio on our DAB one at home!!
JJ Fingers, toes, arms, legs the lot crossed that you get a bed on Wednesday!!!!! Will keep my eyes peeled for Pandora Charms as I need to list a few I like for my brother to pick one (bless him as he always buys me the one he got me previous as he knows I will like it :D ) Big heart, not a lot of memory :rotfl:
mcculloch29 I will be taking a peek on the Aldi decs in a mo. Wouldn't mind something for a couple of our windows that always look a bit plain.
I could do with a trip to Card Factory within the next couple of weeks to find some boxes/bags. Firstly need to seriously look through what I have got and make a list though.
How far in advance would you recommended making homemade fudge as a gift? I do have the time to do it the week of Christmas if it should be really close.
Need to decide what I am doing on our Christmas cake this year, if lots of little fondant bits I will start making them now...hmmm I think pinterest may become my friend today :rotfl:
Not much else Christmas wise to report here...Oh I must remember I need some more curling ribbon :rudolf::D
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Primark were selling Marvel Wrapping paper. I bought it a few weeks ago to wrap up b'day pressies lol. £1 a roll:T

B&M also have loads of Marvel sets, mugs with chocolate, 3 different soap sets, socks, and something else I picked up but can't remember now:think: If I remember I'll get back to you on it lol:o

I'm still on the lookout for proper Christmas Party Bags that won't cost me an arm and a leg:eek: and a small cheap white Christmas tree.

If you've not found one yet, I found one over the weekend in Asda for £5. It is 3ft and pre-lit.

Now I have all the bits I need to make a white Christmas tree snowman :D
