quidsy & Feisty - I use MFP too
I just started using it again properly today, after far too long a break(We're talking over 6 months since I last logged daily
!). It really worked for me. The logging of food helps see patterns which keep it working, I have stayed within 3lbs of where I left off last time
rather chuffed with that
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

I think getting into a smaller dress size beats it by a whisker!quidsy & Feisty - I use MFP too

I should get back into using MFP too. It really did help make me more aware of what I was eating.
Just catching up with DOI. Please keep your fingers crossed that I get tickets to the filming of one of the shows. I LOVE Torvill and Dean. Have a crush on the lovely Philip Schofield too, but seeing him on the 15th for The cube filming.
Have taken down the decs. Boring bare & dull living room now. Leaving the cross stitches up a bit longer and keeping my throw out too. The mugs and plates can get put away tomorrow, as that shouldn't take too long. How have I got at least six Christmas mugs??? There's only two of us!
Oh, I went to B&M today and they had some OCD (obsessive Christmas disorder) PJs left, but only 16-18 & 8-10.

The key to depression recovery is to start with a few small goals and slowly build from there. Draw upon whatever resources you have. You may not have much energy, but you probably have enough to take a short walk around the block or pick up the phone to call a loved one.

Evening.
I have a headache.
I downloaded a really good app yesterday called cartoon hd. If you have an apple device and kids get it. ( not sure if it's available on android). It has loads of free films and cartoons available to watch for free. I watched The Croods last night. ( ok so maybe you don't need kids to get it !
)
Then this evening Ds bought me a late Christmas present. One of his friends was selling a Apple TV box for £30. So after an hour of setting it up (reason for headache) we can now watch them via Bluetooth on the TV. The picture isn't great, but no worse than a good pirate. ( not that we have any to compare it to).
I have got to ring EE tomorrow to retune the internet. It is a bit jumpy. I rang them today but dd was on the laptop and I need to connect it to the router with the lead. Really not worth the aggro of getting her to stop what she was doing. Hopefully it will make the picture on the Apple box a bit clearer.
FM loved all his presents. Dd loved his pillow pet a bit too much. She has decided he can't use 2 at the same time. She thinks they should share them. Never mind I have another one put away for next Christmas and DS found a Spurs one on Amazon today. :rotfl:
Am off to bed now or I will never get up for work.0 -
I'm so sorry about that how very rude of me! I'm back having done a few jobs and watched CBB (already addicted)
Feisty bless DH, he will hopefully be able to ease himself back into work gently, if it's too much then at least he will know he's tried xxx
Linky I know it's a cliche but I did almost pmsl. You know ladies of a certain age have to be careful in that department. Ha. I do hope you let Robbie out of the box eventually and was he allowed to take his presents out of there boxes? And what no mess, you know I like to see the upheaval of your show house when Robbie visits! it gives me hope! xxx
Dunkeydorey you are doing well will your preparationsX
Betasam well done on your bargains, I did an asda click and collect this week! I didn't get as good a deal as you but ordered a memory stick and they didn't have it in stock so substituted with a better on but honoured the priceX
Katmum how is DH doing? Shingles are awful aren't they and so painful. I hope he's a good patient and on the mend very quickly X
Festive Princess JJ I miss you. Love Nan xxx
Annie hiya! looking forward to getting to know you and your festive hobbyX
Chrissy had to google junction 32, I'd not heard of it before. How disappointingHave you been to Cheshire Oaks? I've never done very well there either but have heard of bargains xxx
Mojoworking aww bless you. Hope you are feeling a little brighter today and you manage to find your mojo xxx
Ruth I'm just about to start "Cottage by the Sea" another Carole Matthews book. Have you read it? I so enjoyed "Calling Mrs Christmas". Read a story from the Tea Room collection was really enjoying it then it finished ha, didn't realise it was a short story!! I'm a dumbo. Fingers crossed you get tickets for DOIxxx
Freespirit I really have been amazed at the amount you've managed in these last few daysYou truly are inspirational
Weirdly I've had a pesky headache the last few days, lurking but not shifting and blooming backache (like Mrs M no idea why or how) but very very sore. Was almost in tears yesterday with it, it's lasted about 5 days now- thankfully easing today. Thank you for remembering DGD2 starts nursery in the morning, bless her, DD said she was still awake about 20 mins ago! Just like DS, he never slept before the start of something either she is so like him
DD thinks it's her curse haha makes me giggle that her daughter is so like her brother (the one that she spent her entire childhood/teenage years fighting with)
Well finally today I've actually managed to chip away at my to-do-list. I'm going to try and follow along with the flylady tomorrow at least, hopefully make some progress before the "bedroom project" begins.
Pinksteps I'm still intrigued to hear of the fresh start for 2014 ? Really hoping that you are ok, and DS is managing with his splints xxxThe secret of Christmas

Hello to everybody else!
I am a real insomniac as of late! It didnt help having a lazy day! I will write a list of things I would like to achieve this week! (shunt permitting)
I do have one moan!
I realized my phone bill was extra high and I knew the only think that should of been charged was a justiving text donating £1 to the charity supporting my brain disease! Anyway I phoned vodaphone up and they gave me a 0844 number which I wrote down .. they said it wasnt including in my 300 minutes of 08 numbers as it only includes 0800 0845 0870 I googled said number and its my doctor surgery! I am so annoyed £23 it has cost me to speak to them over the past month! Anyway! I guess we all learn! Going to need to tweak my budget now to cover the extra cost!
Love and hugs and positive vibes to all!
1 thing that made me smile today
playing play station with my autistic older brotherNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

Why does it always pour with rain when I'm walking the dog, then stop minutes after I get home. Yet again this morning I got court in a downpour.
Have had to change my clothes to go to work. It didn't help that I thought I would take a shortcut back only to discover my brolly was too wide for the alley walls.
Off to work now. The day has just got to get better.0
