Thanks Chrissie, did what you said and all back to normal. :)

Mrs G I'm losing a lot of time on your elf thread - I've barely had time to go onto Elfilicious/Pinterest lol :D

Cav82 our TKMaxx has gone badly downhill recently. It used to be my favourite shop for home stuff but has been so awful lately I was even wondering if they're closing down. Will pop in tomorrow and see if things are looking up - fingers crossed cos I've still got money on a voucher but haven't found anything to spend it on lately.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :

Thanks Pixitots, that helps put my mind at ease a little.

Oh dear all the !!!'s have made my eyes gone funny.

Well, went for the job interview, didn't get the position I applied for, but they have offered me Head Midday position, plus supply work as a TA, with the possibility of a full time TA position within the next 6-12 months.

    Happy days xx

    Congrats :T :j

Sorry to hear your news Lottie.

  • ALIASLOTTE so sorry to hear your news, I know how you feel. I know it's difficult but now is the time to focus on yourself and your life and what makes you happy. I know the days are hard right now but one day you will wake up and it won't feel so bad. You can always vent on here too. xx

I haven't read back but I can see you got a new job pinknfluffy, congratulations!

Sometimes I can keep up on here really well and other times I can't get on here for days! I don't have the time to catch up but I hope you're all well.

I'm doing quite well with my Christmas shopping. I'm now trying to plan what food I can make in advance for Christmas day so it's not a manic rush!

Hi ladies. I need a little advice. We have had an elf here for the last 2 years and the kiddies have loved it. They have been asking recently whether 'Jingles' will be back again this year.

My dilema is this. DS is 7 but has been placed in a mixed class in school this year. He is year 3 and one of the younger ones with a birthday in May but half of the class are year 4 and some of them have turned 9 in September/October. I'm worried that if he goes into school excited about what the elf has gotten up to the older ones may pick on him for believing in it all. I know I may be worrying over nothing but it has really been playing on my mind.

DD is 4 and so she would miss out if we don't have the elf to stay but I've been arguing with myself for a while now and thought it would be best to ask all the Christmas lovelies on here what they thought.

    Congrats Pinknfluffy. :D

    Hugs Aliaslotte. :grouphug:

My ds is in year 3 & has said some of the boys in his class said father Christmas isn't real (also tooth fairy etc). I just said "Up to them but won't they be sorry when they don't get their Elf gift of Christmas eve or the special gift from Santa on Christmas day". He was quite happy with that & it doesn't seem to be a problem.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.
