Have finally decorated my Christmas folder. Its a plain A5 ringbinder from paperchase and I glued 2 of the wrapping paper samples from the Prima Christmas magazine on either side and cut out some tags to stick around. It looks very sweet. I plan to organise all my recipes, articles etc in it and can add to it year after year.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Ooh Pixtotts, I love the Cadbury choc from DDs Tassimo machine so if the Milka is even better then I'm def gonna try them. I'm planning on getting DH a Tassimo machine for Christmas but holding out for one that's cheap but goes with my kitchen. Have seen a lovely purple one but really need pale blue or cream (would love pink really but as it's for DH I think that may be stretching it a bit far).

Dog sitting-We've got friends who run a cat sitting business and they visit the cats in their own home. Feed them, play with them, give them any meds they need, etc etc. Maybe there's a dog version of that?

Thanks for the feedback on the coat. I will give some a try when my stepmum visits next week.

Had a lazy day today. Really couldn't be bothered to do anything. Watched Home Alone 2 in the afternoon. :)

Good evening all. Been a pj day for us, as dd2 has now got this nasty cold too - and we are all absolutely cream-crackered after 2 birthdays in 8 days!

Managed to get a bit of lap top time, so booked panto tickets for us all (sleeping beauty) and managed to get front row seats!

Also ordered a couple of board games from amazon (they have got some great deals on games at the mo) Doctor who turbo top trumps for £7 (was £24.99) and Game of life Fame edition for £5.98 (was £19.99).

My The book people order came, chuffed to bits with the christmas decorations activity book (dd's wil love it) and the nutella recipe book, Dh picked up a large jar today to go with it!

Does anyone have any experience of having dog sitters? We are having 2 nights away end of December for mums wedding, and need to find someone to look after our dogs (an american bulldog & a staffy) and they have never been in kennels before. The kennels local to us really dont have good reviews so Im even more reluctant. Dh mentioned getting a dog sitter to stay at ours, but I feel weird about a stranger staying in our house. Any advice would be greatly appreciated x
when I go away I ask friend of the family to dog sit for me or my sister would have her two nights for me as well

Morning, didn't see any 'vile rant,' so it must have gone now xxxx
W-L-L I have that very machine, l love the costa Americano from it, which l drink black, unsugared, so l know it is identical to the one l get in Costa (very occasionally, now, as home brewed is so much cheaper!) In fact l got DS2 one for his birthday, and have ordered, from the offer in the link, another for DS1+DDIL Christmas. You get £20 voucher when you register the machine, so really it is only £20 +£5 p+p.
The christening was lovely, and DGS looked fabby, so l took photos, (rare occurrence) and will get one printed out for his mums Christmas present.
I can hear a dratted bluebottle buzzing, but cannot find it, but when l do.........
Fave Cos. is coming this morning, we are going to have a gander at the local shops Christmassy stuff, looking forward, then soup dragon will open the cauldron. Off to put it in the slow cooker, byeeeee xxx

pinknfluffy28 - no experiance of having a dog sitter... but I have done cat sitting on a couple of occasions, ask anyone you know if they know anyone reliable who would do it. First lot I did was for a friends, boyfriends brother and his family, they went to America for 6 weeks I think it was, I could only do part due to going away myself but they didn't want to leave the house empty and the cat on its own. I basically moved into their house for a month lol. I've looked after their cat a couple times since, and currently looking after the friends cat, her parents house is only a few miles away in the next village so I'm travelling back and forth this time.

Peppapig - definitely try the milka! We ordered them both in our first lot and finishing off the Cadburys was a bit of a chore with the Milka sat there looking at us! haha. Only down side is I've only been able to find them online so far :( . But with the discount codes for the tassimo website which appear every so often it works out cheaper to order them online anyway, we always stock up when we find one, theres always one Christmas time because we get milka in our stockings!! lol. Get him a pink one I say ;) haha

Hi all, ive actually had a bit of free time this morning so have managed to read back a bit, it's made me feel Christmassy for the first time in ages, so thank you. By any chance has anyone spotted boxes of mini candy canes anywhere yet please?
If anyone fancies a nosey I've started some of my christmas range and you can see it on my page https://www.facebook.com/sugarflourcakes :-)
Also if anyone is looking for special christmas cards I have a friend who makes the most beautiful ones at very reasonable prices https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lyns-Cards-and-Crafts/802674843097502?ref=ts&fref=ts and she personalises them too if required
