On a brighter note found the running top for my dad on M&M Direct :j thinking I will purchase a wooly hat for BIL and he is a joiner/builder and spends a lot of time outside, in cold places and wearing them plus they get dirty quick so it will be of use - this too I am going to order from M&M. Just FIL I am stuck for ideas at the moment and also OH who I might purchase some more slippers for as his are getting ready - oooo I wonder what M&M have whilst i'm ordering :D

  • Congratulations on the job Pink. That's fantastic! :D

I broke up with my partner yesterday, of 19 months. :( Even if I know it has been heading that way for a while, it is still very hard to cope with at the moment. I am in a state of disbelief I think - I can't quite get my ahead around him not being there anymore... I had also sorted out pretty much all of his birthday and Christmas presents. Annoying. I've sent him one of the presents as it was a personalised book that cost me £20 - can hardly regift it or send it back. He might as well have it. I might try and redirect some of the other things or give them to charity - I don't want them hanging around here but I don't want them to go to waste. The annoying thing is I don't know anyone who would appreciate them as much as him, as he has quite... individual taste. :/

Aww Lottie I'm sorry to hear that :(

Congratulations to PinknFluffy on your new job BTW.

Friend of mine just informed me she bought a new elf for her kiddie winks in The Card Factory today for £1.99 and it came with a book. She said she was going to pick me one up for the book alone, but didn't bother:mad: So near went down her throat for not buying me one, as I can't get into town until next week to get one:mad: and knowing my luck there'll be none left.
