It's online only thing now you may be able to get at one of the gorilla shops but sadly I don't think that there is one open at the moment. But advanced warning you will probably have to pay for courier postage it's a royal mail thing about posting perfume. If she's a fan have you seen the cosmetics to go book? She might like that :)

I loved Ginger and had given up on finding it again and really thought that it had been discontinued. thanks

    Xmas Saver!

Thank You for all the Birthday Wishes. ( how many new posters are now confused :rotfl:)

Week am I glad it's Friday. How can working 2 days feel like 2 weeks.
It's been the longest 2 days ever.

Popped into town after work to pick up my Boots order and get FM some new teats for his bottles, as he has bitten the top off one. I also bought a couple of Linx sets. 2 in Boots and 2 in Superdrug. That's my Dads Christmas done. DS can have 2 in his stocking.

I have put £10 in the Christmas tin and £2 in the Food tin. I'm not sure if I will be able to manage that amount every week but will make sure I put at least £7 in them. (5/2).

Hope everyone has a had a good day.

Eta - Robbie (Fingers Malone) is my Grandson :D
  • tried sooo sooo hard not to buy any thing else this week but but failed lol just made a claires order for some furby bits for dd4 either xmas or bday not decided yet. (won't matter if i cant get her a furby in the price range i'd like, its just gloves, bags and bits)

My yankee candles and gingerbread hurricane holder has come! i so want to leave them up all year but packed them away like a good girl lol. Shall have to find some i can keep out all year instead.

I'm hoping places reduce the baylis and harding sets right down low again this year. Family loved those the xmas just gone so making a point in keeping my eye out for those that and any sanctuary offers as i doubt our boots will have anything left if they decide todo further reductions. Its looking pretty empty right now.

I've only put £2 in my food tin for xmas so far. can't put pressie money away until my next small bill has gone next month. its only £125 but the temptation to not just pay it off in one and take the 6 months shall not get to me! want it gone and done with.

Girls are moaning that school starts again next week lol
    Totally debt free wohooo 2014

Just a quick one to say happy birthdayto Blackcat & Robbie.
Decs are coming down tomorrow, so I am enjoying my lights for one last night. The windows will look so bare and I will have to clean them. That's what I'm really not looking forward too.

happy birthday robbie & blackcat :bdaycake:

ploddingalong do you have boys/girls? boys I find harder at that age as like you say they change so much over a yr and whats in now can be totally wrong by xmas plus often not that fussed about smellies yet. girls are far easier anything hair /jewellery /make up/ bags/ smellies is usually a hit and you can find some great bargins throughout the yr.

Happy first birthday Robbie! I truly hope you are living up to your awesome nickname ;)

Happy Birthday Blackcat, have a wonderful day!

Well DH managed to get up and stay out of bed this morning. In fact he also made it to Mr Ts with me to do the first food shop of the year :) Worryingly he came close a few times to losing his stomach contents a few times, but thank goodness they stayed put!

I have been really good and managed to get all work done and ready to finish next week so that I can actually enjoy my weekend off work! New resolution is to finish all work by dinner time (and not carry on once I've finished eating) and to actually have the weekends off :)

I've also been brave and phoned to cancel both the shop insurance and phone/internet. I will have to pay £140 to cancel the phone/internet and they were trying to advise me to just keep it running as would be cheaper! I had to stress that I didn't fancy the next shop tenants making free calls from our connection lol It would be closer to £320 to cancel, but luckily I get a rebate of £180 for the shop insurance (paid in one lump sum) so it's not quite so bad. And as you can see from my signature, I'm almost debt free!

fiesty good to hear dh is feeling better some people just don't think

managed to get a ted baker gift set that dd was hinting about from boots 1/2 price will keep and eye open for the 75% sale off but not much stock left locally so not holding out much hope of any real bargains.
debating about wether or not to just grab some of the small sanctury sets while they have them at 1/2 price or wait on the off chance there will be any left?

cant believe how busy the supermarkets still it was busier today then in the run up to xmas  not as if theres any real bargins to be had either as all the xmas stock/reductions are gone

ds has actually gone to sleep :j:j so I'm gonna try and get an early night tc
