I don't store many presents if I'm honest - not for any great length of time anyway as we simply don't have space and it would result in me spending more per person (even with a list!)
That said; if I could guarantee it was a great bargain on stuff people would love/definitely use I would stash away toiletry type sets (posh ones like the Champneys ones in Boots for half price at the minute) and then the associated 'beauty' gubbins (the latter for girls/women obviously). If nothing else that way I can deconstruct the toiletries sets and give people a combination of different scented minis************************************

I store different bits depending on the year last year I stored loads whereas this year I stored a handful of items. I'm on the fence about 2014 I feel bargains may be harder to come by, or maybe I'm just getting choosy the older I'm getting.
My lush order arrived this morning just the regular level of saving for me but it was things that were sold out in store. I must now have a sort out.
Today's mission sort the bags and boxes of things from yesterday then hopefully sweep and mop my floor and Hoover the walls..... I sound like a crazy person :rotfl:
I'd like to make some soup too today but we will see on that one
Happy birthday Robbie!!!
Love and hugs to all xxx0 -
Amey, can i ask is ginger perfume available instore or online only my sister was saying its her fave perfume but shes down to the gregs of her bottle. reminising she was saying about the bottle coming in a wooden chest with pot pourri (before your time from the cos to go days) so im amazed it still smells of anything if its that old. Ive still got my wooden crate in the attic but used up all the perfume. i had a google to see if they still did it and its part of the gorilla range now.

FeistyFidget - Sorry to hear about the ickyness
hope you managed to stay clear of the lurgy!! I think sickness bugs are the worst
and that it didn't last long for Mr Feisty!
So unfair of people to think they can comment on whether someone is drinking or not, statistically dr's and nurses drink the most and smoke the most! And I'm always in the everything in moderation mind set, especially if your ill you deserve to have the things you enjoy
MrsChristmas - If the maze ball is like I'm thinking they are brilliant! Nice difficulty level, starts off tricky but not impossible...now I've had one for years and still not completed the last section! ggrr! lol
blue_eyed_girl - I sometimes use the Wake me up foundation it's good
PloddingAlong:P - They wouldn't remove it when you were scared because you were tense, and if your tense it hurts, so they were doing you a favour. If your being referred to a hospital it will be consultation and xrays and what not first time they have to do their own set of everything because it's like going to a new dentists. (well they did for my sister...). Hope it goes ok

We've done the most Christmas shopping before Dec that we have ever done and it's only just Jan!! Crazzzzy!

It's online only thing now you may be able to get at one of the gorilla shops but sadly I don't think that there is one open at the moment. But advanced warning you will probably have to pay for courier postage it's a royal mail thing about posting perfume. If she's a fan have you seen the cosmetics to go book? She might like that0 -
i had a look through the book when i was in the shop, looked great and full of loads of the stuff i sed to buy from ctg, but i did think it was a bit too expensive. Ive still got some of the old catatlgoues from when i sent photos of my girls in and they used the photo for a double page as they liked it so much. now if that had been in the book id have bought one LOL.
i used to be really really addicted to ctg parcels and loved the randomness of some of the free things they included.
thanks for letting me know about the postal charges ill probs tell her to try the solid perfume stick instead. that should be ok through the post shouldnt it.SPC~12 ot 124

Loving the challenge:j however I can’t draw a straight line:mad: When my children were little they could only recognise a giraffe or elephant. Dogs, cats, horses , cows etc always looked the same:eek:….and I have not improved with age. Drawing is a wonderful gift.:beer:xx

I was in for a bit last year but went Mia big style! I loved reading all the posts. I have made a good start on 2014 buying from Boots. Plenty of pressies put away some for Birthdays and some ready for next Christmas. This time tho I am determined to wrap them as I go and not leave it all until Christmas Eve like usual!
This year I made 3 quilts for my nieces and they turned out so well. I'd like to do something similar this year but no real ideas yet...

Christmas is over in our house. It's okay though as I'm still enjoying the fresh start of JanuaryOnly downside (not really a downside) is I want to do a detox juice thing with some family members but we still have 90% of christmas sweets and chocolate in the house!
FEISTY yes i think he has used bits and pieces from various resources and put it together for me (personalised it) SNAP i cant start eating healthy until all our crap has gone and we the same as you have tons left, has DH recovered?

Got caught in a proper down pour on my way back from the nearby Sainsbobs (about 10/15 minute walk - although in my current condition more of a 20 minute waddle to avoid stitch/cramp!)
Didn't dampen my spirits though as I finally found what is, for me, a festive bargain. Jars of mincemeat down from £1+ to 30p per jar. Got 3 jars for 90p instead of a can of pop and some sweets - I will stick them in the cupboard for next year as I love mince pies/tarts and can already think of a few other recipes I want to try (e.g. mincemeat slice!) They are only 500g jars so not as big a saving as if I could find the bigger ones on offer but still a good one for me!
I might even go back again on Monday to see if I can't pick up the same again. They are BB Oct 15 so should last through to Dec 15 if properly stored I think.
Gutted not to have seen any mini/individual Christmas puds whilst there though!************************************
