No probs. Here's a link to what they look like. Just please don't buy them off ebay as the prices are just a bloomin joke:mad:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Primark-Ladies-COCA-COLA-HOLIDAYS-ARE-COMING-Pyjamas-T-Shirt-Jumper-Lounge-Pants-/281444759329?pt=UK_Women_s_Nightwear&var=&hash=item41876a3721

Thanks for the pics. I've spotted a men's Xmas Cola pj set on tesco clothing site. Not women's ones (yet?) though.
They were hidden away in a pokey corner in my store :(

The only reason I spotted them is because I saw a jumper up on the displays near the stairs by the entrance to the store that I wanted a closer look at and the snowmen fleeces were hidden right up against the stairs, so most people will not spot them.

I'm sure all the Christmas clothing will come out onto the main shop floor soon enough...:D

Thinking I might do a Marvel hamper for hubby's Christmas present. Got a huge book from the B00k People and there's some film out in November that could go with it. What else? No mugs, as we have tons. Maybe sweets or undies?

Also, can I ask your opinion? I quite fancy getting a faux for coat for myself, but not sure if I'd look like a giant teddy bear, as I'm a size 26/28. What do you think? Tesco have a leopard print one, which is the cheapest I've seen (£39), but I'm not sure if it's a bit 'Kat Moon/Bet Lynch' and a plain coat would be better. Cheapest plain one I can find is £59...:( Any advice appreciated...

Just a heads up, Batman isn't Marvel, he's DC ;) (sorry, I have a 13yr old has drilled this into me!)

You can get some nice Marvel/Dc wallets online. And superhero drinking glasses.

If anyone is looking for a chocolate advent calendar with a difference, M&S have "where's Wally" ones for £2.50. They are in their buy one get one half price offer.

Boxes of posh biscuits are 2 for £7, but the Christmas themed ones in tins are £10. I'm sure they went down to £5 for a short while last year until they ran out of stock. I have a £10 gift card earmarked to get 2 this year but won't be umming and ahhing about them like I did last year and ended up missing out :(

Oh yeah I know that. But they all like Batman, Spiderman, Avengers etc all in one no matter what they are so all is going into the hamper.

Oh might see about getting one of the Where's Wally calendars tomorrow. I'm also on the lookout for a Frozen one:wall:
I got 8 of the Christmas tree biscuit tins last year when they went down to £5. One for the house, 4 for DC's teachers and assistants 1 for sister, 1 for neighbour and 1 for Aunt.

Will have a look and see what they are like this year before I decide if I'm buying them or not lol

Argos also have annuals in - didn't check the prices as I don't need any this year, but some had half price stickers on them.

  • I decided last year to set myself the challenge of a luxury Christmas this year, but on a budget. So far I have managed to purchase 2 persons gifts (they always have a small token budget as distant rellies) and a big dent in the food shop (luxury Waitrose bits) and we've only spent £2.40!!!!

I toted it all up and we have £56.40 worth of pressies and grub for the meager fee of £2.40.

Waitrose sent us through a lot of vouchers to entice us back, so I made sure we used all of them on the Christmas food.

I am contacting facebook crafters and asking if they would like to trade their makes for some of mine - all I have to pay is postage and materials. My recipients get something that is a bit special and not made by me and I get the smug satisfaction of knowing it is a fraction of the price it should have cost.

I know we have some crafters in the group, so if any of you are interested in trading for some of my paper cuts, cards, jewellery etc then send me a message ;)

Wow feisty that's amazing! £2.40! In terms of the food how do you do it? I watch these coupon programmes and people get £100 worth of food for a fiver and I think how?? Maybe i'm not very good with coupons! The craft swapping is such a good idea. Unfortunately i'm rubbish with crafts so can't participate but love the idea. I know you've probably told us before but how do we look at your items you make? Thanks.

I've just messaged pixtotts to join the shared Pinterest board, I don't want to miss out! Such a great idea, thanks pixtotts for setting this up. x
