    No Aliens near me either-sorry.

I did find this on the book people site and thought some of you might be interested. It's a flash sale, so only today, I believe...http://www.thebookpeople.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/qs_product_tbp?productId=413703&storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=100&searchTerm=kacc&filters=9books

Forgot to say a belated happy birthday to Freespirit. Any new books for presents? ;)

Who was looking for make up brushes? I've just spotted a set on groupon. 32 piece for a tenner. (Don't forget cashback if you buy them)

Freespirit so sorry I missed your birthday :( I hope you had a fab day!

Irishrose, no stock near me I'm afraid :(

Ruth Honey, I was treated to that Kirsty book last December and was really disappointed :( I'm a big fan (although first to admit that some of her bits are even to wacky for me!) but it just seemed all fluff and nothing all that spectacular, or just too OTT.

I just thought I best pop on and share our first Christmas purchases!

I decided last year to set myself the challenge of a luxury Christmas this year, but on a budget. So far I have managed to purchase 2 persons gifts (they always have a small token budget as distant rellies) and a big dent in the food shop (luxury Waitrose bits) and we've only spent £2.40!!!!

I toted it all up and we have £56.40 worth of pressies and grub for the meager fee of £2.40.

Waitrose sent us through a lot of vouchers to entice us back, so I made sure we used all of them on the Christmas food.

I am contacting facebook crafters and asking if they would like to trade their makes for some of mine - all I have to pay is postage and materials. My recipients get something that is a bit special and not made by me and I get the smug satisfaction of knowing it is a fraction of the price it should have cost.

I know we have some crafters in the group, so if any of you are interested in trading for some of my paper cuts, cards, jewellery etc then send me a message ;)

Hi everyone just popping in before I head into town. Have a few christmas gifts to pick up, from Asda, Tesco, Argos and Boots lol.
Also need to try and fit in the bank if I can too.

Although I'm now hoping for a miracle from Argos as their Alien family dolls are now on sale for £2 upwards and I need one of each for LO. Problem being now that since going on sale further yesterday there is no stock of all of them at all in any stores near me or further afield :( Could cry. LO really loves them and I'd gotten the Older kiddies them a few months back when they were on offer and there is still murder when LO gets their hands on them. So wanted to get a set for Christmas for her :( Thought I'd be sneaky to and get them even cheaper as they're in the 3 for 2 offer too and I missed out on that now. Will have to stalk the site now in the hope people have reserved them and not picked them up.

I've checked my area and can get the dad and daughter if you would like me to get them for you? I don't log on very often but read the thread every day so will see the response.

Thank PigPen. Fortunately I have worked with 2 children with Diabetes so now know all the ropes lol. One now has a pump so we're getting to grips with that all together.
But I'll keep you in mind........... just in case:o

Thanks to everyone who has been checking for the Aliens for me. I called into our both Argos stores in town today and managed to get mum and dad which wasn't reserved. Now just need the children

I really do appreciate all of you checking for me though!

Picked up all other stuff I needed to collect in town. Got myself all excited and called into Lush with the idea to buy a selection of the Christmas bath bombs to try out................ only to find there were none to be found:( Asked the nice lady when they would be in store and she said tomorrow. She had them all out the back for her to put out tonight when they closed:mad:
Was none to impressed with that as I woas looking forward to using one on them in my bath tonight:( Came out empty handed as I don't like of the other ones there ATM. Will have to wait another week to see and smell them now.

Well I suppose as the cat's out of the bag online I might as well tell you everything!

So for the snow fairy fans she's back obviously, but we have the glittery snow fairy sparkle massage bar too this year and Father Christmas from last year now has the snow fairy fragrance too and the magic wand.

For golden wonder fans we have it back and celebrate body lotion too as well as a silver lustre that has the same smell called first snow.

for snowcake fans we have snowcake bake and a bath melt that smells the same in snow angel.

we have reindeer rock soap that has the comforter fragrance.

yog nog soap that smells just like butterscotch angel delight!

northern light bath bomb that smells like christmas eve.

Sparkler bath bomb to match rose jam shower gel.

so white bath bomb and so white shower gel

    hot toddy shower gel.

Gold Fun and snowman fun that smells like the carrot soap that we had at easter

Snowman jelly that is so cute! and smells like carrot soap.

Star light star bright bath melt.

    melting snowman bath melt.

baked alaska soap that has snow globe fragrance.

wizard bubble bar that smells like jingle spells.

penguin, cinders, luxury lush pud, christmas eve, santas lip scrub, santa baby lip tint, lord of misrule

fairy ring soap smells like silky underwear,

holly go lightly is a big silver bubble bar that is turquoise inside

hedgehog smells like noriko soap from last year.

and that's all i've got off the top of my head.

oh wait another bubble wand called drummers drumming that smells like strawberries.

pigpen I might pop back and pick your brains later if that's ok about diabetes.

This all sounds very festive Ameyturtle. Thanks for sharing :T

Does Lush ever have a pre-Christmas sale? My DS loves the bath bombs so if I can get them on sale I can make the pennies stretch and get him a few of them ;)

No, Lush don't do sales. If there's stuff you want, buy whilst you can!

I'm itching to get all my Christmas shopping done. Some people are all sorted already, but others I'm stuck on.

Thanks Ruth_honey. Will have to buy a couple each month then ;)

There are unfortunately no boy or girl Alien dolls in my Argos.
