Hello all.
My naughty head and even worse shunt is slowely going wrong and packing up again - My neurlogist and my surgeon are "chatting" about it tomorrow - I don't think they are very happy that I have choosen to have my surgical care moved to London.. So I will find out tomorrow what there plans are now - usually its a emergency lumbar puncture and drain to bide time - but there is really no way my neurologist wants to risk it as it caused so many problems last timeKind of in limbo - got some other emotional stuff going on to but I wont harp on any more!
I love the argos alien family lol.
One stop had 2 types of tango sweets 50p each lol.
Might steal the tango hamper idea I think now i see it so much lol xx
Can't remember what else was said! Because my shunt wont drain properly i can't lay down so barely slept this week! Yawn lol!
Hugs , love and festive love to all.
Ps asda had gingerbread candle for a 5er I think. In the toilet roll aisle xNanMias - cyber granddaughter!

good morning, wow, it has taken me an hour to catch up!!!
my Christmas prep is moving again, 342 at argos got me 6 lots of leg* for the nibs, and 342 at boots got me some non leg* bits for them. Waiting for the list from DIL then l can really get cracking. Got the half price shortbreads from M%S my discount too all helps. Can't believe it is October already, must have blinked and missed September!
Still feel a bit 'off task' but the weather is changing so the garden work is not so enticing. Today is a list day, and kitchen timer too, so l don't get carried away on any one thing.0 -
Morning from a very tired GTQ
Dropped rellie at Heathrow last night, loved having him here, but I have so much sleep to catch up on, and everything else, that my poor body hasn't got a clue whether it is coming or going.
One of the things we did while he was here was Eurostar to Paris, while it was a fantastic day, it was very long (and expensive, he doesn't know how much it cost, especially as I owe so much for all of their kindness to me when I go there, but worth it for a one off. My mum gave me money for my birthday and told me to spend it on something frivilous, does this qualify?) I have just realised that although he stayed with me for 2 nights & with my aunt for the remainder, I actually did something every evening, which on top of a day at the office probably explains why I am so tired.
Will catch up with you all over the weekend, got to go to Costco after work as I desperately need washing powder (what exciting lives we live!), need to do the ironing, lie in tomorrow, housework, then go & see a friend tomorrow afternoon/evening, not seen her for ages, so cinema, & chilled time ahead. Then maybe, I will be able to get some proper me time on Sunday.
Hugs for allA smile costs little but creates much0 -
Hi everyone. Hope everyone is well and coming along nicely with all your christmas shopping. Bought some more bits this week so have crossed those off the lists. Made the mistake of leaving the symths catalogue out on the coffee table so my 6 year old got hold of it and you can all imagine what happened next. I told her that if she wanted to add to her christmas list some things that she can wait for needs to be removed. A few years ago I would go mad at christmas and she would of had it all but I won't do that any more. I am more sensible now. Anyway I swayed her towards the things on her list that I was yet to buy her and she weighed up what she really wanted compared to things she only liked a little. Eventually we had a newly updated final list that I quickly put into a envelope and put a stamp on it and told her I would send it this morning. She knows now there is no changing her mind. Phew as I started to panic. Note to myself no more symths catalogues allowed in this house.
Anyway on a brighter note my husband this year will have no christmas duties so will be off for the whole of Xmas period. So happy so have made christmas plans with our friends. We are off to a show at a posh hotel with a Full three course christmas menu and overnight stay. All booked and paid for. Very excited and went shopping yesterday and picked up my christmas party dress. Soon as I saw it I fell in love with it. Long Gold and black dress with chiffon and side spilt up the side. However soon as I saw that it was a size 12 my face dropped as I am a 14. But my friend persuaded me to try it on and it fitted. I was over the moon. I am defiantly a 14 so all I can think is it was of a generous size. Not complaining as 18 months ago I was a size 20 ( thanks to slimming world ) I had to come on here and tell you all about it as I have been bouncing about it since yesterday as it's a stunning dress. Reduced to from 110 to 40 quid. Got it from the designer outlet.
I am waiting now for Amazon Black Friday as have gift cards that I have been saving with Park arriving end of the month for Amazon so waiting on some deals with that. Hopefully will be all finished and everything wrapped by End of November. Right I will say goodbye now as have to put clean bedding on my girls beds now as my oldest has her friend sleeping over so can't imagine I will get much sleep tonight with teenage girls in the house. Bye for now x'There are far better things ahead Than any we leave behind '0
