Hi All,
I went to The Range today,they had nail art advent calendars for £7.99 I think it was,they were selling like hot cakes.Lots of lovely Christmas stuff out on display.
In Home Bargains I got 2 tubes of Pringles for £2 for the Christmas stash and some winter flowering pansies.Plenty of Christmas stuff out but nothing grabbed me.
I also went in Hobby Craft which I usually avoid 'cos I think it's expensive but I needed googly eyes in a hurry! I didn't have much time but I did see a reindeer with advent drawers in which you can decorate yourself.Can't actually remember the price but it wasn't too bad.( and I am so tight I squeak when I walk so to normal people it would be a bargain!)
ChrissyG I hope your daughter feels better without a cast on,and that you just feel better xx
Pinksteps and Pigpen,thank you I am in wool heaven .
Freespirit,thanks for your concern about the hospital,just a check up,I had breast cancer 3 years ago and they keep a keen eye on you for the first 5 years I think.
I am feeling soooooo festive :xmastree::xmastree:Vx:0 -

News from Chez Nan would rival Gone With The Wind for an epic saga. The short version :
VDH has been poorly, I'm actually sat watching him sleep next to his hospital bed. Last few days have been scary but we are through them and determind to be positive. He has turned the corner today, "All will be well" I am one very lucky lady xxx

Welcome back Nanamia it's so lovely to see you posting again! So sorry to hear about DH, but glad to hear he will be OK. I hope you have managed to chase the BD away and you have been looking after yourself. Looking forward to lots more chatter with you. xxx
CHRISSYG I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble you've had with your parents, I can never understand how parents can treat their child like that - let alone their grandchild! If you do get another letter from your dad I wouldn't bother opening it if he's going to say things like that. On the plus side great news about DD! :T
freespirit I love getting loads of parcels especially when they're presents!
I'm going to bite the bullet today and go to Asds with Wiggle. I want to start stocking up as we're hosting Christmas and I'm also making my mum and dad a food hamper so want to get started on that. I'm slightly apprehensive as I have never taken him out in public on my own before. We've been out and about but there's always been someone with me. I'll just have to make sure he's well fed and got a clean nappy and hope for the best!0 -
Good to have you back Nana xx
PK29 - deep breaths, you & wiggle will be fine. Hope you have a lovely outing xIt's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
Good Morning,
Nanamia,welcome back.Although I am new to posting I have read with interest for a Very long time! I think we don't live too far apart. Good news with your husband,Home for a lovely Christmas together.xx
I forgot to say yesterday,Hobbycraft have foot high 3D cardboard letters at a reasonable price.I toyed with the idea of making my youngests name but her room is so small it would fill it! would be nice on a mantle as Noel or Christmas if you have room:snow_laug
