CHRISSY how is DD now the cast is off?

Her ankle is still swollen apparently that will get better in a few weeks, she just has to be sensible and rest it now and again.

For anyone who buys the Radio times there's an offer on 12 issues for £1 and it includes the double Christmas issue, just remember to cancel the subscription.

  • Nanamia Welcome back! Hope that DH gets home soon.

PrincessKitty29 Glad that trip to the shops with Wiggle went ok. Don't worry too much about him sleeping. I'm sure he'll waken up when he wants fed or changed. Take advantage of the quiet time and put your feet up! :)

Hope everyone is keeping well! I'll have to get back to the Christmas shopping as I normally like to have it all done before December so I don't have to brave the crowds.

Last weekend I noticed that Marks and Spencer have extended the return period for their clothing items to January (I'm assuming that this is nationwide) so just thought I'd mention this in case people haven't noticed.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Princesskitty- glad your trip to Asda went well, it's always an anxious time heading out in your own with a baby. But it will get easier each time you do it. As for sleeping for ages through the day, just let him do what you feel is right. Try not to read too much or listen to conflicting advice. Each baby is different and you will eventually know his patterns and what works for him and you. My DD2 would sleep for hours at a time in the afternoon and still sleep at 7pm right through. But DS would have 40 mins nap. Any more and he wouldn't sleep later, but those 40 mins were enough for him. They are so different. You are doing a great job. X

Today I plan to try and make gingerbread fudge. I hope to add it to my fb page to sell for Xmas. This is my favourite bit, having to try the recipes, then eat them :D

  • Have had a successful day today in the Christmas department. Picked up a few things that have been crossed off the kiddies Santa lists. We sat and wrote them last night and Posted them this morning lol. Thankfully what was on them I have already in from sales throughout the year. There's a few things that I have that they don't want again (like a few months back) so put them on FB last night and got them sold already! So while I took kiddies to a birthday party hubby sat in and waited for 2 ladies and a gentleman to come and collect them :T Thankfully they are the "in things" at the minute so were easy to pass on.

While kids were at birthday party me and 2 other mums went to Argos and Toys R Us to pick up a few things that we had reserved. And Birthday party host had also reserved some things in Argos so that was the deal, she looked after the kiddies while we picked up toys :rotfl:

Aswell as that I popped into Tesco after birthday party and they have started to put their Christmas stuff out:j Children picked 3 lovely wee Christmas tree decorations and 3 wee bobble head ornaments at £3 each and 3 for 2:T Also got a pack of mini mars bars, smarties, maltesers, Milky Ways and Milky bar buttons, for various candy sleighs, hampers and stockings :rotfl: they were all £1.30 each or something like that. They were on offer anyway:D

What else  Home Bargains! I got my Candy Canes for the Candy Sleighs and Reindeer that I'll be making, 12 canes for 79p. Can't get much cheaper than that :rotfl:
In The Card Factory I got the children's Principals, teachers and assistants their Christmas cards at 79p each.

Didn't manage to get upstairs last night to check the christmas card situation so will do that tonight. I know FOR DEFINITE I do NOT need wrapping paper or gift tags though.
