    Tea Hamper:

Harder to save money with this one, as the Whittard loose leaf teas he loves are very expensive. I did manage to get the tea-caddy for free though, and to save some money on the enamel mug, so that's not too bad.
Total spend so far: £15.61 [including the basket], RRP £24.45.
Has the whisky tea been tried before? I've been eyeing it up as a pressie for a friend, but as they don't have it in the local Whittard shop would have to be an online purchase and I keep putting it off (His birthday was August!! :| Ooops! )

I need some help/opinions/ideas... I'm helping another rep with her Avon party, getting all the Christmas stuff in for it :D. Anyway in return for helping she's said I can take some of my arty stuff to try get some orders. Well I've bought this ceramic cheese platter shaped like a parcel tag, even has the hole in it where the string would go. So I'm planning on stringing it with some leather and painting it, but I can't decide what to paint on it :/
I've been on pinterest pinning things, I'm thinking writing, but in gold and silver.
    http://www.pinterest.com/SimplyCharB/christmas-plate-ideas/
It's all pinned there, can someone pleaseeee help me make a decision? I want to get started!! lol.
Any other ideas gratefully received :)

I also had another idea, don't think it's been done yet... I know a few of us are pinterest lovers/addicts (< I definitely fall into that one !), how about creating a group board, if you create one and add people we can all pin in one place, me and my friends had one for cute ideas for a friends wedding :). Maybe even a couple for different Christmassy bits and pieces, like a food one, and a gift one, I'd be happy to set it up if anyone fancies it? You just add people by their email address...
Anyway just an idea let me know :)

    A group pin sounds good..

How about 'Let it snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow' in various fonts etc? 'Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly'

Though I do like they style of the second one 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' but I think it needs to be different words..

I quite like the ones done in a shape.. like a tree shape or something.

Visited the range.. supplies purchased for cards.. and some more present bags so just about done all those. Finished off my sister and DS1 and made a start on my stepdad.. I need 2 more advent calendars.

  • Free Yes i am feeling less delicate today :D though i think coffee is leeching out of my pores lol!! I am going to have to go back and get a closer look at the sleigh, I but a new decoration every year and I think it may fit the bill.

Ive been looking a lot on amazon and am trying to work out how i feel about ordering tings from China for pence. I mean postage must be higher than 69p so I dunno.

:xmassign: Does anyone else have teens who wanna buy for their friends? I'd like to spend as little as possible considering there are at least 10 gifts to be bought. I managed to get one gift from Tiger for £1. Am kinda stumped and not wanting to go to £land if I can help it.

This weeks hunt is still non choc advent calenders - Im being super fussy with the picture I want :D and some baskets for hampers and to replace the busted kitchen ones.

IrishRose - the cards meh I started, wrote 3 and got bored. I hate writing cards with a passion and I know it will take me til December to actually do them :rotfl:

I'm sorry, it hasn't. He loves the other tea in the hamper, which is a crazy £7 for 50g. He likes whiskey, and usually gets a bottle, plus things like whiskey chocolates and whiskey marmalades for Christmas, so I thought I'd throw it in there and give it a try.

Best thing is I'm not planning on writing them, I just want to see if I need anymore or not :rotfl:
That's getting done after dinner as Kiddies are away to a fun day ATM.

I went on a wild goose chase earlier on, Saw on the HUKD site that there was a Frozen busy book thing with wee figures to play with for £4. Me and neighbour drove down to our local one to see if we could get any, and they had none :( In fact there was nothing Frozen in the shop at all:eek:
Raging as they would have been a nice wee small thing to add to the Santa bag.
Apart from that I've been doing a bit of tidying up while kiddies are out, off to have dinner now, then up to check out these cards:rotfl:

Afternoon everyone, i am still in my PJs i think i have trapped a nerve AGAIN on the other side of my back now  it only took 9 months for the other one to go grrrrrr! My personalised coca cola bottles just got delivered and they look fab :D

Afternoon everyone. Was in town last night and picked up a couple of small bits and pieces. Cards for those close to me that I didn't manage to get in the sales last year (niece, nephews etc) Got lovely Santa Gift boxes and gift bags too! The card factory done well out of me yesterday :rotfl: :o

My mum purchased one of those boxes on Wednesday for a candle to go in which she brought for my cousin for Christmas (it was one in a glass pot from Nex!)

Welcome back Nanamia it is lovely to see you posting again! Sorry to 'hear' that thing's haven't been great but glad they are on the up! You have been missed :)

Well me and OH headed back to Meadowhall today and I got a full refund for the boots I had brought Wednesday. He then took me for a look around the jewellery stores :D but we couldn't find the ring that was just right - or in the price range :rotfl: I am quite particular and have accidental expensive taste :o He has said he learnt more what I would like and he will take me to the town about 30mins away where thing's are just cheaper and we will look there :j
This afternoon I had 20 minutes putting the wrapped sweets (hunmbugs/sherbets/eclairs ect..) from the original bags in to adorable little clear bags and tying some pretty ribbon around the top. It spread the sweets out between FIL and OH's grandparents plus they look pretty :D
3rd Christmas cake is smelling very lovely, just MIL and our's to make now! Everyone looks like they are doing well with shopping and bargin finding!
Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
    Mum to two boys :heartpuls
