pigpen - I really like the shaped ones too, just a bit different will have a play about with which words I can make fit...
I shall create a board then! Name suggestions on a post card please!
Anyone who would like to join the pinning fun if you private message me your email address I will invite you to join
IrishRose12 - I love the gingerbread man decoration!
willow_loulou - I always used to get some little chocolatey thing, and something to go with, I'm guessing it's girls as gifts are wanting to be bought.... boots gifts often have packs of 3 lipbalms in their 3 for 2, I often bought those and split them up, (still do), I buy a lot of nailvarnishes because I am addicted to painting my own nails, you can quite often get very fancy named ones from Fragrancedirect - got a CK one less than £2.. theres those cheap purses someone posted on Amazon...
aliaslotte - thats exactly what I was planning on doing! One I know he likes, and the whisky one as a wildcard because I know he likes whisky and tea lol!
I've spent the afternoon watching Christmassy films while tidying
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Welcome all newbies
I have a Christmas and Birthday pressie to send to New Zealand and learnt a couple of years ago not to wait and send them air mail - the cost was more than we spent on the pressies! I knew the last posting date for economy (the old surface mail) was coming up but checked last night and it's tomorrow!!! That's me off to Asda or Primark in the morning for four men's t-shirts (2 Christmas and 2 birthday) then come back, wrap them and get them to the post office.:D
Pressie wise I've finished/bought- the 'Girl's night in' hamper (for honorary DD)
- the 'Pamper' hamper (for DDIL)
- the 'Man' hamper (pamper hamper but for a man lol) for DS
- the Harry Potter tickets for one of the DDs and family
- lots of Thomas the Tank Engine goodies for DGS
- a lovely top from Joules (in their sale) and 5 books from the Book People for 'honorary' DGD. She did have 10 books but DD saw them and was so excited by seeing the Five Minutes Peace and Peace and Last series that she remembered from when she was little that I've taken them out to give to her as part of her birthday pressie so I need to get HDGD something extra to replace them now lol.
- two 'Some Like it Hot' hampers - hot foodie stuff not the Marilyn film
- 'renovating' a dolls house for DGD
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Hello all,
Just to say I am here and reading your posts. Christmas plans have been put on hold here as a very close friend passed away very suddenly last Monday at just 31, and I can't get my head around anything else ATM.
I am enjoying the occasional read through though and will continue to do so until I'm a useful contributor again
💚

Welcome newbies xx
Happy Birthday to those celebrating today xx
Aliasalot your hampers look fab!
Back from our first weekend at our new static van! Oh its even better than the pictures and dh,s description! Looks like home now we've put some bits & bobs, pictures etc in there. Site is lovely, plenty to do, but not too much iykwim! Dh has decided we might move pitch though, there's a lovely corner plot free on the cul-de-sac part, same site fees and well worth the moving fee. Didn't want to come away again, but were back for 10 days over half term so not too long to wait.
Going to the range hopefully tomorrow, fingers crossed they have plenty of Xmas bits in!
Going to watch xfactor with a hot choc now, night all xIt's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
Had a £land email to say they have Frozen jewellery in from tomorrow, no use to me but it might help some0

Have just bought my candy canes for church today. Means I can get the poem printed and sell them. They went down really well last year. Instead my Xmas church donation I use the money to make crafty Xmas bits and then all the money they make goes to church. Means they get more, I do my bit and people get some of their stocking fillas sorted!
As I am back working I am getting bits and putting on wardrobe. Always get dd body butter so have picked some up with last code.
I like getting things for Xmas it gives me a buzz!
Hi tibawo,
Could you share the poem you use please?Smiles are as perfect a gift as hugs...
